they are pretty good about being firm and gentle. Just keep your dog comfortable and they will take care of the rest.

The vet will keep her there for a day,or not you can probably take your dog home after a couple of hours, the vet will be gentle to her shots and all, your dog might freak out but thats normal.

She probably will not freak out and the vet will not have to keep her (unless something is seriously wrong with her). She may have a small bump where the vet gives her the rabies shot, but it will go away and it does not bother them.

Depends on the dog, if the dog likes going for rides/walks and has never been to the vet before, he or she will probably like going out for a bit.
If your dog is skittish and afraid of a lot of things, chances are he/she will be a bit scared.
If your dog is pretty social and happy, he/she might like it.
It all depends on your dog's personality.
They probably won't need to keep your dog there overnight if there isn't anything wrong with her.

They get a little excited because its all new and THEY don't know what to expect.
The actual shot won't hurt them although, depending on the dog, they may feel a little scared.
The after effects may make them a little sleepy...depends on the dog.
its a new experience and they will be fine.
(I have a diabetic cat who gets insulin shots twce a day and, sometimes, doesn't even notice when I give him his shot. He's just used to it.)

No. Dogs react differently than humans. It will be behind 3 seconds after it happens. She'll feel it go in, but thats about it. Now the thermometer, thats a different story! Happened to my dog and he was free to go.
