why did you breed your dog? and if you are a professional breeder then you would not have to ask this question. l am not too happy with unprofessional doing the breeding. a lot of us dog lovers are really down on back yard breeders and puppy mills. your dog will need a lot of vet visit or did you just think that a dog can get pregnant and have puppies while you sit back and make some easy dough. shame on you

Well sometimes they have false pregnancies, but they might start to make a nest of a pile of toys, and avoid contact from you. There is no way to know for sure if you don't want to go to a vet, but a dog breeder might be able to help you out reasonably accurately.

you might as well go., othewise you might not know until much later, and if there's a problem - too late. Even with milk and teats it could still be a false pregnancy which can be incredibly dangerous, so you need to go and get her checked out. A vet can still spay her if you want... and if you keep the pups, life is going to get lively and much more expensive!

Why do you not want to go to the vet? If she is pregnant, you're in for quite a few vet visits, so you might as well get started now.

Well sometimes (very gently) you can kinda feel the pups in the stomache,like if you see your dogs stomache getting bigger and you think she is prego.Then massage her belly and see if you can feel the pups, but why don't you want to go to the vet, if she is pg then you will have to go to alot of vet visits.
