I have three cories in a 30 gallon tank. The only other fish in the tank right now are neons and otos, and the stocking density is light. Two of the cories act perfectly normal. One originally did, but within the last week or so has taken to swimming frantically up and down the glass. I've never seen a fish swim so frantically in my life. I've tested practically every water parameter known to man (Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphorus, iron, CO2, pH, gH, kH...), and they are all perfectly fine. The tank is heavily planted with live plans and DIY CO2, but the CO2 is supposedly in the low range (lower than it should be for the plants) and all the other fish are acting perfectly normal. The other cories are as laid back as can be, and I can see nothing physically wrong with this fish. Occassionally he calms down and stops pacing, but he seems to spend the majority of his time doing this. Any idea what's going on?

I have 1 poms and yes I did travel to get her,I drovehours away to go see this breeder that wanted me to spend time with there mother and father before I took the dog home so that I could see how they acted before I brougth one of there pups home with me. I have the papers for this dog because there father and mother were in the pedigree breed. The pomeranian that i want to breed it with does come from a backyard breeder and has no papers. I have no way of telling what there parents had but I brought it to the vet to get checked out and the vet said that they would be fine. So why is it so bad to breed these two poms together? I know I can call my vet anytime if somehting happens, and I am off of work for the next few months anyways so she would not be alone. I am not even selling my baby poms for money, or to make a profit I just want to give some of these poms to my friends because they are very well tempered and good around kids is that so bad? Why not give me advice on breeding

I am interested in the Akita breed, and am trying to collect as much information as I can. Alot of information about this breed, whether it be from a breeder or trainer's mouth, or from media sources, is not consistent.

I strongly feel that I can handle a dog such as an Akita, as I have had experience dealing with a Pitbull cross, a Husky mix, and others. I understand this breed can be aggressive with other dogs because of it's temperament, and how it was used in the past. Some sources make the Akita sound like some overly aggressive dog that will flat out kill another dog no matter what. From some other sources, they can get along if the Akita is introduced to the other dog as a puppy, and if I do get this breed, I plan to do just that.

Like I said, I feel that I can handle this breed, but I am wary about how it will act as an adult toward my other dogs, even being introduced as a puppy.

My 6 month old kitten has just vomited up phlem and a 2 or 3 inch live white worm which looks like an earth worm. I always thought that worms were something that were found in cats faeces or in the litter tray. Is it possible that cats can vomit up worms?
I intend to take her to the vet tomorrow but would appreciate some advice now as I am very worried and the poor kitten looks so scared and sad!
Thanks

I recently got two baby kuhli loaches from my local fish store. I am experienced with loaches, and have a tank devoted to them, planted and with 74 degree water. All my water parameters are perfect, I drip acclimated them when I first got them home, and all my other fish are happy and healthy. The baby kuhli's will not come out at all, they are buried in under the substrate, and it has been about a week now. I thought they would get used to their new home by now, and I have never had this happen before. Two days ago I cleaned my aquarium, and to do so, I had to remove them from the tank and briefly place them in my hospital tank. One of them looked very skinny to me and I don't think he's been eating. When I put them back in the main tank, they immediatly burrowed into the substrate again. I've tried to entice them out with bloodworms, but it doesnt work. I've never seen a kuhli do this for so long, and I'm stumped. Any advice?

My 7 month old Keeshound puppy has blood and mucous in his poop, does anyone know what could be wrong?

I took a sample of his poop to the vet but it tested negative for any kind of parasites, virus or bacteria. His vaccinations are up to date and he is dewormed. The Vet did a manual search for any obstruction and found none. She checked his anus found nothing, sent me on my way with meds and said to keep an eye on him over the next 2 days and bring him back in for an xray if it continues. His poops are often very soft to runny, but occasionally more solid like they should be. There is blood and mucous around the stool and not in it. He's still happy, playful, and eating/drinking well, although appetite might be a little less than usual. I feed him one of the best, premium food Nutro Natural Science for Puppies! He is constantly in my presence and not sure what he ate that could have caused this. Very worried. Does anyone have same problems with their dog
