My dog was the world to me and im a huge animal lover! i got rid of him 2 months ago and i miss him so much and im always thinking about him? what should i do???

Well i got rid of my dog because my parents relized it was too much work!! we gave him to an animal shelter and my parents said that they wouldnt put him to sleep!!! but i just wonder is my doggie okay and does he miss he old home?? what should i do???

If you gave him to a shelter, you got a piece of paper saying you surrendered him. On this paper is a number. Call the shelter and give them this number. You should be able to find out if he was adopted or not. Good Luck!

I would say if ur dog passed away the best theropy for you would be a new puppy. You may not think its the same at first because nothing can replace a pet (im a pet owner so i know this stuff...sorta lol) but helping cope with the pain of the loss would best be suited for a new pet.

Well. there's always the option of getting a new pet. I was very upset when hamster died. I know that sounds kind of but still, it's hard losing something you love. Maybe get 2 dogs this time? Or maybe a cat, although I hate cats but that's just me. Anyways just try getting a new pet, or wait a little while if the memory is still to fresh to get a new pet. Sorry 'bout your dog, whatever happened to it. I don't know so I'm just going to say sorry. :P

This makes me so mad! He was too much work!!! Why did you get him in the first place? People should put more thought into animal care before they go out and get one. Why don't you check with the shelter to see if he's still there? You could try to get him back or is it too much work? Don't feel sorry for yourself. Feel sorry for all the animals that are mistreated this way.

We had to put my dog down. If I were you tell your parents how you fell. Just ma by they'll listen to. And just ma by they'll let you have him back. Or if him got sold get a new dog. I really fell sorry for you cause if my Mom and Dad did that to me I'd be heart broken. Oh and tell your parents you'll do all the work then they will let you have him back!

I feel for you.I am a great animal lover so I understand the pain your going through.I wish I knew why you got rid of him.Anyways try and keep busy and I wish you luck.Maybe you could get a cat.I have 3 and they are wonderful.

Time is the cure. My dog died 2 years ago, I still miss him but it hurts less.

call the shelter and try to find out what happend to the doggie. and please don't get a new dog till you are able to take care of.

I think you should show your parents how good You could take care of him , if he means the world to you i think you should try and get him back. show them how easy he really can be and how much he/she means to you.
