It depends on the breed, there are many name sites with a meaning and certain traits your dog has may inspire a name due to the meaning of a name. Such as Lucas means "light" maybe the dog is the light of your world

Depends on the size of the dog. My dog is a bulldog and her name is Sunshine because she always brightens my day up. Pick something that makes you happy.

You should pick something that pops into your head when you look at her/him, but a good rule is to end in a vowel sound, especially 'A' or 'O'

It helps the dog learn their name faster.

It depends on how they look and there personality. If I do have a dog. I would give this little pup a bling collar and it has to be white. Then I will name him Silver Bling because it likes bling bling and maybe he like silver things. You get it?
