Get something called Quickstop from a pet store. It crystallizes the blood and makes it stop. But I would also take it to a vet.

Try dipping it in corn starch or flour. Also hold a washcloth over the nail and apply pressure to it. One time this happened with one of our dogs and we put the liquid bandage New Skin on it and it finally stopped. If it keeps bleeding you may have to take it to the vet.

Were you cutting them? If so if you dont have a type of paste in your house that stops bleeding nails from an animal I forgot what it's called something like quickstop I think. Anyway you can use baking powder and put it on that.

i might wager that he probable caught his nail on something and tore it, wherein case the healthcare expert could ought to trim off maximum of it so it grows returned frequently. The vet might try this on your dogs collectively as he's under sedation so he won't sense something and then prescribe your dogs some discomfort drugs for some days. he will initiate feeling greater efficient interior of an afternoon or 2 (that's plenty greater soft strolling around on a trimmed-off nail than on a broken one), and the nail will ultimately advance returned like commonly used. of direction, it is likewise obtainable that he's have been given a nail an infection which became major final nighttime, or that something else is going on. yet broken toe nails are tremendously hassle-free, and that they are no massive deal on your vet to patch up.

If it is still bleeding, put flour on it. If it is already dry, make sure you keep it clean with some hydrogen peroxide or something like that.
