My dog sleeps in her kennel at night. I buy dog beds for her to sleep on and everytime I do that she tears it up in there. I wake up only to find her bed in shreds inside her kennel. But when she sleeps in there for a nap during the day nothing happens. It's cold now and she still chews up her bed and I feel so bad because she's probably cold, but not matter how many beds I get her the same thing happens. What can I do so that she doesn't chew up her bed when she sleeps at night?

or anything for shelter? And just let there dog bark all day long. The dog does have long hair but still it needs to have an option of a dog house especially if its raining a lot.

I just picked up my kitten tonight from a friend who found him. He's roughly about 4 weeks old. VERY, VERY young. It seems he has a cold, eyes are very watery and sneezing. Both of his front paws are scraped. Despite this, he is unbelievably friendly! Absolutely the WARMEST and GREATEST kitten I've ever come into contact with. What do I do with him before morning when I take him to the vet?? How can I make him comfortable? What do I feed him? I just need some basic answers here. He looks sickly and I'm scared.

Is it a bad sign if someone tells you a pet is a devil? when i first got my cat he was only 7 weeks. the people at the shelter were saying he was a little devil. maybe they were glad to get him out of there lol. we still got him. he's almost 11 years old and still gets into trouble.

I was eating an orange tonight and I was wondering if I could give my budgie a piece of orange peel. Naturally I didn't give it to her until I was sure if it was safe.

I am 100 pounds, the puppy is already at 70lbs.
Yes- the puppy is a large breed dog. She keeps pulling and I cannot walk with her at all. I am out of breath and my backs and legs are aching after trying to walk. Thus, I need solid advice.

She sleeps normal, except she twitches her mouth and shakes her legs for a few seconds at a time while she sleeps. Help! :-)

We recently got a cat from the local humain society. Everything is going great and she is very loving.
Our concern is that all throughout the night she will constantly meow. It was cute at first, but now it is tiring!
We have tried everything, it seems. We have tried feeding her before bed. giving her toys to play with. Trying to keep her awake throughout the day.
My husband and I are tired! We chose a cat because it wasn't as needy.
How do we make her stop meowing?

Hi, I have had my dog for about 3 years now and I cannot keep her anymore. She is a half german shepard and half sharpei. Does anyone know of a place in the LA county area that i can take my dog to? Like a rescue center or someplace, NOT like a shelter that puts dogs to sleep after awhile. I am willing to pay to go to a good home. Thanks

I recently rescued a stray cat from certain death in the horrible neighborhood where I teach. I am presently keeping him separated from my cats, and plan to have him neutered later this month, before I find a home for him.
He had fleas (I treated him with advantage) and he also has worms, which I plan to take care of this weekend.

My question is this:

Every day when I go into the room where he's staying to give him water, food and scoop out his litter box, I notice that the towel where he has been sleeping has these little things on it that look like sesame seeds. They do not appear to be alive or moving, but I'm wondering what they could be.

I didn't see many dead fleas fall off of him after the advantage treatment. Could these be the eggs? I know what flea dirt looks like and altough I did see a lot of that at first, this is something completely different. Any thoughts?

Both of our cats have what seems like cracks in their nose. I don't think its from playing. Could it be something else? Sickness?

I'm thinking about buying a dog and I want a dog that is non-shedding or barely sheds at all. Are there any long-haired dog breeds that don't shed? And what about large dog breeds?

She has just started to become quite aggressive towrads strangers, especially men. She responds well to commands, knows who's boss, sits & waits for her dinner but can also be quite timid when diciplined. She is not desexed. Will this stop her being aggressive or how can I help train her that men are ok...?

Okay so you think pigeons are dirty well listen to this,

THE AVERAGE PIGEON IS ACTUALY ALOT CLEANER THAN THE AVERAGE HUMAN, IN WHICH YOU CAN GET A FATAL DESIEASE FROM, ----- NOT FROM THE PIGEON .. FROM THE DIRTY HUMAN!

If you don't belive this go to (Pigeon Talk forum), I swear it's true.

Respect pigeons, they saved MANY MANY MANY human lives during the wars!

I own 9 pet pigeons and there all awsome! I always kiss them get there poop on me but I have never been sick once from them.

The only way you can get pigeon lung is if your alergic to the stuff in the poop.

I LOVE PIGEONS!
