She sleeps normal, except she twitches her mouth and shakes her legs for a few seconds at a time while she sleeps. Help! :-)

Yes, it is normal. It is because of their muscles and nervous system are developing.

She's just dreaming. It's normal.

In fact, I can't think of a dog that I've owned or been around for any length of time that doesn't occasionally twitch in his/her sleep. They will sometimes quiver their legs like they're trying to run and/or give quiet little "woofs," too.

My Mom used to say they're just catching squirrels in their sleep because they can't catch them while they're awake.

Sometimes it seems more like they're having nightmares. If our dog cries in his sleep, I usually just say his name quietly couple or times and tell him to go to sleep. He usually just wakes up enough to stop crying and goes right back to sleep.

What I wouldn't do is touch her while she's having a nightmare, she might bite you as a startle response.

I have a cat but it seems my cat does the same thing your dog does. When my cat was younger she used to twitch her paws and retract her claws, as if she was in a dream. She doesnt do it as often, but I don't think it is bad at all. Just little dreams

Yes it's normal I have a 14 year old dog and she still does that. I have asked her vet he informed me that she is in her R.E.M. sleep. It's normal for dogs to twich, bark very soft and move their legs. Don't try to wake then up because in some cases you may scare them. If you see when she does it just soothe her and say it's o.k. but don't wake her up....

Yes, it's normal. Your dog is dreaming. Dogs go through REM (rapid eye movement) sleep just like humans do...

I love it when my dogs do this, it cracks me up! It means their dreaming, chasing after squirrels, or rabbits or cats or whatever in their dreams.
Sometimes they will make whimpering noises, and sometimes my lab mix will kind of start to howl.
It is hilarious.

You should be happy about this! Your beagle has an active imagination! lol My cat does this but he meows too (so if it was wrong I would notice it first), so it's pretty much normal ^^

Your dog is probably having a dream. My daughters Pomeranian dreams of cats.. And locking me in the car...
But, it's normal. She's having fun in her dreams.
Everythings fine!!!
Best of Luck in her chewing stage...
