my cat is hurt. he got ito a fight with another cat and got scratched everywhere. i searched to find where he had cuts , he had them on his leg and his face. the ones on his face started to heal when i noticed he was limping. he had the biggest puss bubble on his leg and it looked slightly infected. it went down a little but theres still a bubble that wont go away and then he started to have weak meows but i found no cuts on his stomach and i dont know why he has these painful yet weak crys. could his leg be the cause to his meows. my mom says he's healing and she doesnt want to take him to the vets and my dads picky about vet bills what should i do! help!!!!

ok so i have had my goldfish for 5 MONTHS now and all of a sudden i noticed a couple of days ago he/she (don't no which) started turning black. He/she is getting black on her/his face and on his/her sides. It gets more and more every day!!! PLEASE tell me what is happening!

I have comets and calico goldfish in the same tank. For some reason, 1 of the comets and one of the calicos are just sitting in the corner of the tank for some reason. It kind of looks like they are sleeping.. but I know they are not. I am positive that they are not deceased,but this strange behavior is making me question the health of them. If I come near the tank, they move, however.. once I walk away, they go back to the same corner together. What is up with this?

Don't get me wrong, I think all dogs are cute. Even those that are so ugly that they are adorable! But, why would anyone intentionally breed these mutts?

Maggie (jack russell) had puppies back in august, and since then she is not the same. she has tried to kill the cat several times by the throat, she was raised with this cat and no problem till she had the puppies, she even growled at us if we try to stop her. she use to be so gentle. What can we do to cure this? and today she niped my Boyfriend when he pulled her away from the cat, and he's usally the dominent one with her. whats the best way to cure her of this? Please help!!!!

Does hair that grow over the eyes of Maltese bother them? I'm worried that if I cut try to cut it, it'll poke into his eyes :O It's not serious right now, but just what if it grows longer.. Also, what's the best way to remove the tear staning that's forming below his eyes? Does this usually become a huge health problem?

Thanks for all your help! (The maltese is only 8-9 weeks old if it matters...got him on the 1st of Jan!)

Why does he always squat down on his perch squak, and barely lift his wings? I heard all hand raised parrots do this and why? Everyone always asks and I don't have a reason to give. He is really cute and funny when he does it and his eyes bug out. He always also has to pick at the skin on his feet when he is being petted, this is weird also. Anyone know why?

I would like to get a canine that serves multiple purposes. I would like it to protect my family and home. I also have milk goats and I would like it to be able herd them in from the field. It should be a breed which is a good pulling dog for helping transfer the milk, bottled and in a cart, from the barn to the home. Finally I will take the dog hunting and have him gaurd the camp while I'm out in the field. . . it will not participate in the actual task of hunting. It should also be good with young children as we have a 3 year old granddaughter. Can I find a well rounded dog breed that can meet these requirements in one dog? If so, which one and if one sex is prefered over another, which would be better.

I've noticed a change in the last month with my 13 year old cat. She's never had any medical problems. Lately, she won't let me brush her, so I ended up having to shave her, which I then noticed how thin she's getting. I can feel (see) her bones. I'm not sure how much she's eating because she shares her food with two other cats. The last 3 days, she has been a little weak and is sleeping more than usual. I plan to take her to the vet next week, but just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this with their cat?? Is the end near?

Is chichucha breed is the hardest to housetrain them? I been trying to train them for more than 6 months and they still won't pee or poop on pad or newspaper. I did tell them no and i put them back on pad. It don't really work. I cant take them outside because they are afriad of going outside and afriad of leash but if I keep them in den then they will pee or poop on paper. I can't keep them in den all the time and I feel bad for that. they need to run around the house and stuff but I can't keep them out if they continue this behavior. Beside I live in apartment which it make it harder to go outside all the time. Do you think my dogs will poop in cat litter better than on paper? I need to find a way to house train them, Any advice or idea? Or chichucha is hardest to train than other breed? THey almost one year old, it is too late for them to be housetrain or not?

I'm just curious. No offense intended to anyone who eats meat or, for that matter, anyone who isn't an animal lover.

Oh, and please spare me the standard "I love all animals... particularly with steak sauce and a good merlot." My 9 year old cousin already gave me that one and I don't think she even knows what a merlot is.
