I'm getting a Chihuhua this week and I don't know what to name him. Any ideas?

I have three chihuhuas and a toy poodle. My mom and dad decided to try breeding their two chihuhuas and when they did have puppies it was at the time the Taco Bell commercials were out --and well I didn't do it but, I really wanted to name them Gordita, Chalupa, Burrito, and Taco. I honestly went with names like Buddy Holiday, Cookie N Cream, Sugar N Spice, Teddy Bear, PJ Satin, Happy Go Lucky, Roly Poly, Pokey Dot, and Big Mac. But, keep in mind that you might want to give a little time before naming your new puppy so you can learn his/her personality, sometimes just getting to know the puppy better will suddenly cause a name to come to mind. Hope this helps and enjoy your new puppy.

Chihuahua personalities do not match their small size. They are definately control hounds! That's why a name that represents their personality fits best. Names like Ceasar, Zeus, Napoleon, Tut, etc......Kings and Emperors

Macho names for tiny dogs are hilarious. Something like Spike or Bull work great.

I've always looked at those dogs and shook my head wondering...." how the hell did the wolves lineage come to this?". That was decades ago; I've learned better since.
So with that in mind I would suggest with tongue in cheek... "Lupus Proles" It's Latin for " wolf descendant".

Scooter. That's my dogs name. His birth name was Harley, I got him at 4 months old and my husband thought if we were gonna stay with a motorcycle name, he was to little to be a Harley, He's more like a scooter!
