do they make a phone that doesn't hurt dogs' ears?

my friend has a russel terrier and when the phone rings it hurts her ears what can i do?

Move the phone to another room.

If you really want, get a light up phone and turn the ringer off. They have them for folks who are deaf, but I bet they sell something similar on ebay.

Maybe the volume of the ring is too loud. Try turnin it down. My dog seems to be fine when our phone rings.
