we just got a puppy a couple weeks ago and i am having a hard time potty training him. i will take him outside and he will go but we will come in and ten minutes later he goes on the floor. i am going nuts and dont know what to do please help!!!!!
he shows no intrest in going outside but it is nessacary for he is going to be a big dog

I'm so crazy about my dog that we are together ALL the time and when alone I speak to her in baby-talk and nuzzle and cuddle her. She seems to like it, but does she secretly just think I'm crazy? Do dogs hate this cuddling and babying?

I have a jack russell that just turned a year old. She is a jack so obviously she has a strong personality and some traits that need training, but she is a little more than we had expected! She is a great family dog, but is very scitish (sorry very mispelled) around other people, even though no one to our knowledge has ever harmed or even looked at her in a bad way. She still has accidents, chases cars, digs.....on the list goes. So my question is does anyone else have a jack with similar behavior or can explain this? We have not been as consistent in our training as we should be, but is it too late? Any advise?

I have been grooming my dog recently to save money after my husband lost his job. I understand that there is a gland in or near the rectum that needs to be expelled. I have read that if the secretion is not expelled, it can be toxic. Any advice other than taking my dog to a groomer?

I recently got stuck with a 1yr old male Amer bulldog. He's extremely aggressive to others. (he's used to us) He's neutered and up to date with his shots. Shelters wont take him because he's aggressive. I'm a mother of 2 small children (the dog gets along with them) and I dont have the time or money to properly train him. I've worked with him for 2 months and he has greatly improved in many areas. With proper training he could be a great dog.
Please let me know how to find the perfect home for my American Bulldog.

I own tons of snakes and am about to get a brand new rhino viper, and a yellow anaconda. I am having trouble affording tanks for them ,I see pictures in J_parker1167, and other snake owners photobucket albums there snakes are kept in Slide in drawers and RubberMaid tins, how do you keep a snake in something like that?

I HAVE TWO DOGS, A BASSET HOUND AND A LABRADOR/GOLDEN RETRIEVER MIX. THEY ARE BOTH TWO YEARS OLD. A FEW WEEKS AGO, MY BASSET STARTED EATING MY OTHER DOG'S POOP. IT TOTALLY GROSSES ME OUT, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT CAUSED THE CHANGE IN HIS BEHAVIOUR (HE DIDN'T USED TO DO IT, NOT EVEN AS A PUPPY). SO WHEN EVER I CATCH HIM, I HAVE HIM WALK AWAY. WHY DOES HE DO IT, AND IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO BRAKE HIM OUT OF HIS NEWLY DEVELOPED HABIT? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

My cat was in an accident where she caught her back legs in between the wall and the entertainment center. She isn't moving her back legs. Her spine appears to be fine but her leg muscles are really tight. She is starting to breath with a rasp in her throught.

I have no money for a vet.

Is there anything I can do? Anything to ease the pain?

Cause I'm going to be at school for a pretty long period and well I don't want my chi to suffer from separation anxiety, so I'm asking should I get a crate, so the puppy will be confined in a space with toys and stuff, or should I get a doggy pen where he will have room to roam around and do stuff? I would actually prefer getting a doggy pen because he will have room and it will be cheaper, but I want to get a crate so that he has no chance of getting out because if they fall and aren't under supervision they can die (they are so fragile!) but then there isn't really a lot of room, is there? ok well thanks for your time and consideration...
