The chemical make-up and percentage is the same, it's only the volume that is different. So if I just use the right amount, will it be okay?

We came home last night to our 10 month old 6lb yorkie-poo chewing on some pieces of potpourri he found on our coffee table. He was in good spirits last night, but we woke up to find that he had thrown up several times during the night, and it has continued all day today. He seems fairly sick, and will only drink water out of my hand. We called the vet today and they said that they would just induce vomitting, and as he was already doing so, we haven't taken him in. I am worried because he is not his normal self, and will not touch his food. Any words of wisdom?

I am 39yrs old, grew up riding and always dreamed of having my own horse. I live in an area with horse prop. and was given a horse in Sept 06 from a friend of a friend who said she was a great horse, but did not have time and had not ridden her for 1 yr. IShe is under 15hands, but is a bulldog!! When I first brought her home she resisted the bit and tried to buck me off. I had her teeth floated and learned that she had some mouth issues that may have caused her pain. I also had her shod, but she still trips alot with her front left foot. The vet said she has some athritis and swelling in the ankles, but didn't seem too concerned. He said she was in good health other than her hay belly that slowly coming off with reg exercise. I ride her mostly by myself and it is always a struggle..she wants to go home, at times throws her head and twice has gone into feirce bucking fits.once put me in the ER. I am too old to get hurt and don't know if I should invest anymore time or money on her??

I have a female, 12 year old Entlebucher Sennenhund who has developed incontinence in her later years. She is able to control her bladder until she goes to sleep, then she urinates in her sleep. Does anyone have any natural remedies for incontinence in an older dog? Our research says she probably needs hormones, however we are hesitant to start her on this type treatment due to her age.

I went to scoop my cat up and this is really gross! I touched her back legs and bottom to scoop her up. Something was wet on my hand and I looked down and it was a small white worm like an inch worm. What kind of worm could this be and does my cat have worms? How do I keep from getting them? Can humans get them? Help. I am totally grossed out and its 9:30pm too late to go to the vet tonight. My cat sleeps in my bed!

I have a female syrian hamster she is around 4 months old i recently bought a male who is now a little over a month. I dont know exactly how old males have to be to breed but i've heard they have to be at least four weeks. I've tried introducing them every day for four days (assuming one of those days she has to be in heat) but the female has twice tried to fight the male and twice ignored him completly. I introduced them in a mutual area so neither would fell territorial or threatened. Does she not want to mate because he is too young or am I doing something wrong? I've heard that when in heat females can freeze in a position with their tales straight up when pet on the back. This is something she has never done. It is possible that I am not allowing them enough contact because i watch them very carefully and while I do allow them to sniff one another, i am very paranoid and seporate them at the first sigh of fighting. Any information is appreciated.

My kitten has diarrhea and she’s not cleaning herself is this normal- her kitten food hasn’t changed and she hasn’t gotten into anything that would upset her stomach. It’s been 4 days now that she’s had diarrhea.

I thought she was finally trained. She goes outside when its nice out..and uses a wee-pad indoors. Every once in a while she will pee on the carpet, or even on our beds!!! I don't know what to do!

No matter how cat food I feed to her, she eats up everything and seems like she is ready for more. I usually feed her about half a can a day. Could I feed her more? She is by no means fat. She's very slender.

I am about to buy a house with a yard, and I would love to add a new addition to our family. I was wondering what breeds, or even mixes, would be best for a house with small children and a large lawn. I would like a dog who will protect our family and be loyal, NOT DANGEROUS. Any personal experiances you can share would be very helpfull!
