I adopted a kitten. She is precious. BUT...
1. She runs when you put a string out or ring a bell. She is afraid of toys. She is not playful at all and acts like she is 5 years old.
2. She sleeps a lot. That's all she does.
3. She is more than a lap cat. Everytime she is on the ground, she jumps in our laps and climbs and sits on our shoulders. She doesn't want to play or do anything bu curl up on us and sleep.
4. She has been with us for 3 days. She didn't eat at all on day two. She finally ate this evening.
5. Do you think that she was abused with toys?
6. Is it normal for a kitten to want to be held or to sit on you all the time? I always thought kittens like to play.
7. She doesn't play to be 2 months old. Isn't that strange to not have a playful kitty?

I can take her to the vet, but it's icing and snowing outside. And I am wondering if I should return her & get a new cat.

Help because I love her but don't want a sick cat either.

i have had my horse for 4 years an i love him to death, i want to barrel race on him but he wont change leads an just cant do barrels. i wuz wondering if i should sell him or work with him and try to get him to be a barrel horse. i really dont know because i cry everytime i think about selling him.

Well i have 2 puppies and an older dog. The older dog gets along with them but i think he thinks they're female. He sniffs their private area or butt area and follows them everywhere

When you buy your dog food do you pick out what you think looks good and what might taste good to them. They just have so many varieties to choose from you would actually have to pick out what you think would taste good even though it wouldn't taste good for you. Does this make sense? LOL

My cat has never been declawed and used to be very good with her scratching post. Now I have new furniture and she has turned her attention to it (YIKES). One room can be closed off so she's only in it w/supervision, but the other ones can't be. I don't want to declaw and old cat - but I also don't want to have my furniture deccimated while I'm at work. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a 1 yr old Lab/Golden Retriever mix that has been a picky eater ever since I got her at 13 weeks. The vet checked her out, and could find nothing wrong, and suggested I kept feeding her the same brand of food until she ate it, but she went 4 days without eating at one point. This seems strange to me for a Lab. When I put her food down she usually sniffs at it then wanders off. I can't leave it down as I have another dog, soon to be 2, who will both eat hers as well as their own, and it is getting tiresome having to watch over them for 20-30 mins each mealtime until I have persuaded her to eat or given up. I am concerned as I have a petsitter coming in to watch them over Christmas, and want to be sure she will eat while I am away, I don't need to worry about them any more than I already will. I have tried Pro Plan, Diamond, Eukanuba, Nutro Natural Choice and MAX, Canidae, Merrick, Lassie, Science Diet and Purina ONE. If I add 'proper' meat she picks it out.

I live in upstate New York and I want to get a Chihuahua but I don’t want to buy from a pet store and I haven’t found any in shelters or on puppyfind.com, and I can’t find any breeders in my area. I have found many websites that will ship a puppy but I am concerned that it may not be a good idea because I won’t really know what I am getting. Okay, I live in an area next to a farm and two houses. I am looking for a quiet, friendly, and nice goat that won't bother the neighbors. I would also like to have a small one that doesn't take up a lot of space. If anyone can help me consider this, it would be great.
