My hamster is eating, drinking and pooping regularly. She just doesn't run on her wheel. Her skin is fine. She seems to be overweight. She is only 5 months old. She seems to be walking slowly, leaning at times, and gasping for air. What should I do?

For example bark when stranger is near or ringing doorbell. Or just be on guard until he knows that person is fine to be in the house like until they are talking to me.

Not all "Backyard Breeders are bad......I have 6 dogs (all same breed) and all are AKC .....beautiful dogs.........I have a small building connected to my house where they can come in and out ....like an extension to my beautiful home. I'm I considered a "Backyard Breeder" because my dogs are not running buck wild in my house? I barely make any money when I do have a litter.....I pay a lot out....I have pet insurance for all my dogs....makes the bills alot easier. They have regular vet checks.....shots...ect......I will not breed my beautiful dogs unless I get the ok from my vet. I don't want to ruin the breed I want to better the breed. Why do so many "Backyard Breeders" get bad names??

Nothing seems to be wrong with them and I don't see where they may have been bitten or scratched but could they still have picked up a desease, mite, ect.?

I read on many sites not to "over protect" the dog because they might become neurotic. What do they mean when they say "over protect"?

I am w/ my dog most of the day, starting from when I wake up [he is sleeping by my side] to when I leave, which is about 5pm. He stands by the window when I leave & watches me as I leave.

My father has told me he gets sad when I am not here & mostly just lays in my bed waiting for me to come home.

Sometimes I find him playing w/ my other brother, but he goes to bed early so I don't know how long this last.


Should I worry about my Yorkie? Or is this just a common thing that happens when dogs love their owners. When I read online "don't over protect" the yorkie it made me confused & worried. Any answers will be nice. Thanks.

my fish tank has this horrorble smell in my fish tank that smells like trash
-no its not growing algae (i dont know if algae smell or not)
-no i do not over feed
-no i did put too much fish in fishtank
-yes i do water change monthly

ive had parakeets before but its been awhile . but my sister just got me a bird that ive been wanting for like 4 yrs now. its a pink bourke parrot/ parakeet. she is 2 years old. i want her to learn to trust me but she doesnt really want near me too much. i want to train her to talk and get on my hand and stuff. the only time she ever got on my hand was when i put seed in my hand for her. she took a few bites and jumped off again. can she be trained ? how do i accomplish this? please give me real answers with plenty of detail if you can. :)

ive had my fish for about... 4 months and it usually eats a ton (4 pellets twice a day) but lately for the past week he wont eat anything. i wash she vase at least once a week and i cant understand why he isnt eating. i remember i accidently washed his vase and rocks with handsoap, could that have hurt him? i know i washed it all out...

I have two parakeets Mr.Darcy and Miss.Caroline Bingley. Darcy is extremely stubborn and has SO much pride. Miss.Caroline Bingley can be scared easily and she like Darcy and she`ll do whatever he wants. I keep training them to go on my finger and Caroline is the only one that goes on it and barely. Darcy only went on once and the problem was food. How do i make them like me and listen and do what i ask?!

she just had pups two weeks ago she is nursing them. it is one nipple and it is egg shaped and firm she has never had it before she gave birth and we just noticed it two days ago. she is only a year its her first litter and it wasnt planned. she has a vet apporntment but i would like a heads up please advise.
