Cockers have anal sacs that usually have to be drained every month to 6 weeks, usually when you have them groomed they express them at that time, what you need to do is place your fingers on each side of her rectum and gently squeeze. Its a smelly process considering what end you are working with, but its very uncomfortable for them as well. It can cause infections, and intestinal problems. If nothing is expelled then take her to vet, they can clean out her anal sacs and make you both feel better.

The dog needs a vet. There is a gland in the anus of dogs which help to scent mark territory, and it is not just with the males. This gland can become infected, and cause the dog to die if not taken care of. I'll wager that the dogs feces smells worse than ever. This is a sign of the infected gland. Take the dog in soon.

If it is that big I would take her to the vet my dog looked like he had balls at the end when he was dying of lymphoma because of the tumors.
But if it isn't that bad she might need her glands squeezed. It's really messy so I would take her to the vet for that too.

She sounds like her anal sacs are inflamed. They may need to be expressed. Don't try this your self, the smell will never leave the house.
