This started about a week and a half ago. The registers are located in the walls close to the ceiling. He does it in more than one room. He seems agitated and worried all the time since it started.

The larger one is not always allowing the smaller one to eat. I acquired them from someone that was not taking good care of them. I tried putting food in two different spots but the smaller one still waits to eat.Since they have been together so long I was afraid to separate them. I am not sure of the sex of either of them since food, vitamins, and correct lighting have been my first concerns.

My young children are generally gentle with the dog (heeler/corgi mix). She does not seem to mind being handled by them, but with all these stories of kids getting killed by dogs, I kind of get worried! Are there warning signs that the dog would flip out at my kids?

making business for the vets to profit off of? The reason I ask this is because of the over use of human medicines prescribed by doctors. With so much medicine available to humans and yet so many sick people and so many new buildings going up for more hospitals and clinics, yet so many deaths. Well it just got me thinking that maybe all those vaccinations aren't really neccesary either!

My Pug is eating catfood. I have tried several kinds of dog food, but she refuses to eat it. Instead she is eating our cats' food. What do I do? Is it safe that she eats it? Let me know! Thanks!

I'm trying to write a research paper for class that supports a non-profit organization. I want to pick an organization that supports animal rights or animal welfare.

I like that PETA acknowledges the cruelty of animals in slaughter houses but I've gotten the impression that they have a very aggressive policy of tactics that does more to hinder their cause than aid it.

However, when I view the ASPCA website, all I see are pictures of cats and dogs. It seems they'd rather focus on what people might consider your traditional pet, without focusing too much on livestock or wild animals killed for their fur.

Is this impression I have of the ASPCA incorrect and if so, could some reference material be suggested to help me build a stronger case for them?

I buy my cats tinned wet cat food to add to their kibble, but I only give them about a fourth of the can per day... the rest I put in the fridge with a piece of saran wrap over the top of the tin. Someone told me that leaving food in the tins while refridgerating can cause botulism...

Is it true that can cause botulism, and if so... would botulism harm my cats or does it only affect humans?

One of my new puppies has a hard lump on its neck. It didnt have this 2 days ago, but I didn't pick it up yesterday, so I don't know if it develope yesterday or today. It is on the left side, kinda in the front. It is hard and doesn't mush in. It doesn't appear to have an entry place, like if it were a bite of some kind. It almost looks like it would be some type of abcess or boil. Any ideas what this could be? Since this puppy is with the mother and its litter mates, I can't imagine that it would be a bug bite.

I just bought this puppy last week. He is 3 1/2 month old. A pure breed lhasa apso. My family and i wants to play with him. but he always sleeping. he only wakes up when its time to eat, pee & poo.. & if he wants to transfer from one place to another. He's not playful like other puppies that i've encountered. But he is affectionate specially when we're going to sleep at night he wants lay next to me. He has no teeth in front and gums, i don't know if it had fall out in his previous months or not. i haven't hear him bark yet. We already bring him to vet & gave him complete shots. His eating habits is normal as well as the vowel movement. I'm just worried about his behavior. Why he is always asleep? my friends told me its normal to be like that until he reaches 6 months old, because he is still growing, & they say Lhasa apsos are late bloomer. sounds true for me. but i'm still bothered. can you give some advice there guys? why is my puppy always asleep? is that really normal? HELP ME OUT

She is 4 yrs. old and is a Rescue dog. She was used as a breeder dog and had two litters. She has this odd habit, when playing with a soft, stuffed dog toy, of grabbing a piece of it in her mouth and gently chewing and at the same time the little front paws are flexing almost like kittens do when they nurse. I'm just curious what this means. Has anyone ever had a dog that did this?

We are looking to adopt a small dog (under 15lbs). We live the south suburbs of Chicago. We are not too picky, we just don't want anything that yaps too much! We would love a young dog who is already somewhat trained. Any ideas???

She is 8 months old and has been a scard cat from the shelters, two to be exact, but loves her partner cat. We've had her for two months.

I have been trying all your suggestions and she is just starting to smell our slippers, clothing, socks anything on the floor and laying on them as to say, it's OK. She doesn't spray just smells and lays. She is fixed.

We still can't touch her. I just bought, on line, "Essence of Flower" a rescue remedy by Dr. Jean Hovfe, recommended by "Old Cat Lady".

I will let you all know how this works.

And the person who said, "Just talk to her and tell her how much you love her and tell her how beautiful she is" I give you all my gratitude. And to he person who said, not to expect anything, but give her only what she can accept is a wonderful thought for us to let go and love what is!
Thank you all,

But, I'm still waiting on the Essence of Flower to cure all. Let you all know about this.
