No animal is 'better' than any other animal. However, in terms of which I prefer to keep as a pet, I'd have to say rabbits.

They're both about the same, in the afford needed for their care, cage requirements and food (GP need additional Vit C).

If you have alot of space, a rabbit would be good as it'll have more place to roam, especially if there's a garden.

As for GP, they're more timid and would be just as happy to be in a large cage, but some do like to roam the house but under supervision.

Personally I feel that baby rabbits are supper cute but they tend to lose their cute look when they grow. GP tend to have the cute dumb look permanently :)

I like Guinea Pigs better, but it depends on what you want.
Rabbits are more like cats. They can be potty trained and let to roam the house free. They can be territorial and chew stuff, but are cool.
Guinea Pigs need cages to be happy, but they're funny and loveable. Not really territorial, but will chew if given the opportunity.
Cheers.

I've had both and loved them all.

I have to say I absolutely adore my two pigs right now, though. I am happy I was able to rescue them. They are so cute and so much fun!
