What is the best kind of horse for a 14 year old girl? She is takeing dressage lessons and wants to go further with it and wants to compete with her own horse. She is in training 1.(she wants an arabian) I was thinking that our price range would be around $1000-2500.

Any good sugestions?

So I did hear my dog scramble in the hallway last night and when I found her she was laying on her belly and seemed unable to move her back legs. She was trembling, but breathing and heartbeat was strong and steady. I pushed her onto her bed and she just laid there for a few mins, then she got up and is now acting like nothing ever happend. She did not loose conciousness or seem to show any other typical seizure signs and was back to normal within minutes. She did not limp or anything afterwards. Whole thing lasted just a few minutes. She's a 70lb lab mix without any health history. I have an appointment with my vet, but am curious what this could have been.

I have 2 green puffers, one molly, one swordtail, 5 tetras, and an algae eater. I added a male and female guppy the day before yesterday, I got up yesterday morning and my male guppy was dead, and it's tail had been all torn up. I assumed it died and then they just tryed to eat it then. Then this morning I got up and saw my female had her tail completely eaten off and she was dead. All my others are fine. I added the puffers the same day, the others I have had a long time. Which of these fish is being mean? I guess I can't have guppies with them. :(

Was at the vets for 3 days for tests that didn't really show anything. Symptoms were listless, not eating/drinking. Sent home with a diagnosis of being 'dehydrated' and that he should drink more...
I think the dehydration is a symptom rather then a diagnosis - but that is just my opinion...
Anyhow - how do you get a cat to drink? Using a syringe for small amounts, but you can imagine how that goes over...

So I have a I think 10 gallon tank unless it is 20 and I am going to have tropical fish. Can I use tap water to fill it up and dilute the water with the supplies I bought from the pet store? I am going to start tonight any more details on starting the water and making it work?

Recently, my cat started making strange noises that sound like a sneeze, but it comes from her mouth. It sounds like she's about to hack up a hairball, but nothing ever comes out. Is she sick?

I'm thinking of getting a sugar glider, and I'm wondring about housing. Would a 55 gallon aquarium furnished with lots of toys, climbing limbs, etc be a suitable home for a glider or do they have to have a cage?

He's five months old -- frisky little prick of a cat, but I love him. The older cat got annoyed and bit him in the ear. It didn't draw any blood, but he has been whinning for two days and he keeps shaking his head. When he hears a noise, that ear doesn't twitch around to listen. Do you think it's time to take him to the vet? I can't see what's wrong.

I'm about to buy a small maltepoo, and I've never owned a dog before. Can I expect to have to get up at all hours of the night once or more to take it outside to pee? (I live in an apartment). Any advice in general about owning a small dog/puppy?

I already tried Sundance Ranch's website, it is under construction. I tried emailing them, but they never responded. I am not in any hurry to get one, but wanted to research thouroughly before getting one. Planned on getting one in 2011 for a certain someone's special birthday.

My husband and I are having a dilemma because we have 3 cats, one about 7 years old, another is 2 years old and the other is just a few months old. The two youngest are boys and always playing and fighting and making a lot of noise, which of course is also a problem because I'm almost 8 months pregnant and already having trouble sleeping. Also, the apartment is about 550 square feet, which is barely enough room for us two. Also, I have asthma and allergies.
He just can't see a reason to get rid of the cats, and by that I mean finding a home for them, not giving them to a kill shelter. I'm not only bothered by the lack of room and discpline these cats have, but cleaning issues when the baby starts to crawl, the fact that they may try to get in the crib with her, or they may accidentally scratch her like they do us and my husband won't cut their claws on a regular basis. Please give me some advice!

My boyfriend and I are living together, and are about to buy a maltepoo. I've never owned a dog before, so I'm hoping for some advice:
Will it really mess up our sex life?
