omg...please dont tell me you are ACTUALLY considering getting a dog there.....well, i suggest if you want a sick puppy mill dog, then you've come to the right place.....not only are they sick dogs, but they come from horrible conditions and VERY sick parents....go look in your local newspaper and find an ad that suits you. it is always better to buy from people who advertise in the newspaper and have the puppies and their parents on premises. look at the dogs, ask for pedigree if that's what your interstred in. a dog is not just some thing you buy and put way when you dont want it anymore....hope you take my advice.

my sister used to work at petland in tennessee, and the dogs vary in price. some of the older puppies (over 6 or 7 months old) are put into the adoption part of petland where you can get one for $25 or something like that. of course then there are the younger puppies, and depending on what breed you want it can go from anywhere from $300-$1100. but sometimes the have mixed breeds that will only be around $85. i'm not going to say anything bad about the place because i believe all puppies and dogs deserve to live, so you SHOULD buy one there to prevent them from being put down. i hope this helps you

too much...I used to work at petland. you're better off going to a shelter or a private, reputable breeder. petland puppies come from puppy mills, and as long as people continue to purchase these poor animals, the puppy mills will stay in business.

To the poster above:
Supporting the terrible practises of petstores and puppy mills only makes the matter worse. It's as simple as supply and demand. You make the demand for sickly puppy mill petstore puppies and the suffering will continue. Boycott petstores that sell puppies and help solve the problem.
Think of all the puppies in shelters that are dieing daily! For every puppy you purchase at a petstore or from an irresponsible breeder, 10 shelter puppies are euthanized. Instead of supporting cruelty, save a life!

Petland puppies come from the Hunte Corporation. And their pups, come from puppy mills, most of them in Missouri. Petland pups can be outrageous in price! Find a reputable breeder.

Petland is just a giant puppy mill. I have never done business with them just for that reason.

Too much, and all the pets there pay the highest price.
If you are thinking of getting a pet, either go to a shelter, breed rescue, or a reputable breeder. Forget these so called, Pet Shops. They are truly murder/torture chambers for animals. Of course, they don't show that side of their business.

I priced a cocker spaniel there about 2 months ago and it was $800.00. However, they run specials and give discounts if you join their club.
