i have a jack russell and when we got her she would shake all the time just because she was scared. i dont know how long you have had your dog but that might be the reason. if he keeps up the shaking i would take him to the vet.

It's possible that he could have low blood sugar. When we got my Shetland Sheepdog puppy, she used to go through spells where she'd get really shaky and weak, and my vet told us to give her a spoonful of Caro syrup. It always brought her out of it pretty quickly, and she eventually outgrew it.

If it's more of a constant "vibration," though, it may just be a breed characteristic... some smaller breeds seem to have nervous tendencies like that.

It could be because he IS a Jack Russell. That's like being a coffee bean on speed. Either off (asleep) or WIRED!

consult a vet. it could be a nerve problem or a seizure problem. the only one that can properly help your pet is a vet.
