since you've obviously never been pregnant..........leave her alone unless you feel there is a medical problem or emergency, then get her to a Vet...........

As long as the 1st litter is at least 6-8 wks old, they will be fine. Just make sure you have plenty of food in several different dishes down for them all at all times.
As far as scarring you, there are many things it could be attributed to. What breed is she? How close to kitting is she? You may have scared her, or she may be stressed or feeling vunerable & therefore feeling she needs to protect herself. Was she like this with the first litter?
Make sure she has a quiet secluded place in the house for her to give birth so she doesn't feel so vunerable & let her be unless otherwise necissary. Do not let her outside, keep all un-fixed males away from her, and after the kittens are weaned in 6-8 weeks GET HER FIXED. That should end the problem there.

She is telling her older babies that it's time to leave the nest. Most femals cats do this whether they have another litter or not. Once kittens reach a certain age, the mother can tend to be "hissy" at them. I have a momma kitty who had two litters before we could get her fixed and she did this with both of them. It's normal and unfortunately, you're just going to have to let them be. They'll work it out one way or another

If she is ready to have the next litter of kittens, then the last litter is old enough to be weaned. They should already be eating kitten food. If your cat keeps having kittens so close together, she is going to have serious health problems.

She is not being spiteful. She is likely quite uncomfortable and irritable. Common sense would indicate that the first litter is at least 7 weeks old if she is about to give birth and it has been a normal pregnancy. They shouldn't need to nurse from her any longer, so don't let them bother her. And as soon as possible, get her spayed so that this doesn't happen again.

You need to get the cat fixed. If she is already on her second litter and her first one is still around that is too many kittens.
Do you realize the major contribution to the feline over population problem you are making? One female cat can turn into over 50,000 cats in a year!!! Once it's babies start having/making babies.
It sounds like she is stressed and you should be calling the vet.

LOL- it's normal for her to want the first litter to grow up and leave her alone when litter number 2 is on the way.
Solve the problem? Get them all spayed and neutered.
Don't mess with her if you don't want more scars....

let her have her litter in peace. Shes probably very agitated by now. Keep an eye on her first litter, and feed them when it's necessary. After a while she will let you get closer, but wear gloves just in case

she's being protective of the kittens that are on the way. It is quite common for male cats to kill new born kittens, so mom's get very protective. There is nothing you can do to change her current attitude. Please do her a favor, and get her spayed so that she doesn't have to go through this again. If you saw all the unwanted kittens I see get destroyed, you know why I beg of you, please.
