She could be sneezing, my cat used to have a allergies when we first got her. And it could be a hairball too. Take her to the vet, maybe she got something stuck in there, or something serious. I hope she is okay!

No, she's not sick. My cat does the same thing. It is a hairball, and she will hack it up eventually. Give her some grass, which cats love, and she should be ok. Also, you can buy this medecine that you put on their paw so they lick it up and it makes hairballs decrease. This works too, to get her to stop making the strange noise.

She is probably trying to cough up a hairball. Sometimes they'll do this for swhile before they can actually get it up. You can buy hairball remedy. It comes in a tube and you give them an inch of it twice a week. Don't get the licorice tasting one, they, or mine, won't eat it

Hi there
I definitely think you should see your vet about this - we have a cat who started doing exactly this, it turned out to be worms and was easily cured with appropriate medication.
Better safe than sorry - hopefully it is only worms but I believe there may also be other, less common but more serious, conditions that it could possibly be a symptom of. Only the vet will be able to tell you for certain.
All the best and good luck!

try putting a little mineral oil or olive oil on her food. If it is a hairball that will aid in coating it and allowing it to pass. If she still continues, then consult a vet

It could be something simple but I would take her to the vet since you are worried about it, and just to rule out anything serious.
