Can you read this and THEN tell me that declawing a cat DOESN'T hurt them??? How do you think it would feel to have YOUR fingers severed at the first knuckle?? Sure, you'd get over it but you'd never be the same.

He starting by spiting out his food . sometimes he runs around the 1 galon aquarium and jumps a little bit out opening his mouth. other times he stays still hiding on the bottom or under a live plant .Recently I noticed a small swelling behind his left eye and he seems he is tilting a little bit on that site. What can I do to save him? If you know what i can do please answer me asap. Thanks

I got Bob about three weeks ago and just love the big two-ton rascel. He's only two years old and past the teething stage, but into exploring his environment with the same enthusiasm of a new puppy.

So, yesterday he ate the neighbor's cat named Sugar and topped it off with Molasses, the hound formerly belonging to a guy in the next block. Both former pet-owners have expressed their unhappiness to me, which I guess I can understand, you know?

So, I don't want to muzzle Bob, that's not natural for a T-Rex, given their great joy in doing opened-jaw roaring at times. And I can't fence a two-tonner in even with razorwire.

AND I'M NOT SELLING MY HOME AND MOVING TO THE COUNTRY !! I enjoy it here.

So, how do your stop a T-Rex from indulging his sweet tooth?

I really need to know in a hurry because this girl down the street has an "inside" French Poodle named Honey and Bob doesn't know about it yet.

(PERSONAL!! --PegBurnVit... Please answer here. I cannot email you back.)

Addie is a Lab/Bloodhound mix (I know, kinda weird... but SO cute!). She was great potty training but we have new carpet in the living room. She's never been allowed in there b/c of the carpet but anytime she sneaks in, she goes! Even if she was just outside. I swear she'll push out any little bit in her body as soon as she gets in there. She NEVER goes anywhere else in the house and is always good about telling me when she has to go. She does the same thing in the basement - it's okay for her to be down there, but we're rarely in there. Is it something about her territory? How do I stop her? I'd love for one day to have a gate-free house (and a stain free carpet!). Thanks

I have to leave my 1 year old puppy at my sister's house for a week. We aren't supposed to have her at our apartment and our landlord has to do some repairs. Will she remeber me when I go to pick her up? She's my baby and I love her so much and it breaks my heart to be away from her for a whole week. Is she going to be sad to be away from me?

Just tiny little shreds. And I only give them to her once in a while. Today she had 3 pieces the size of a match stick and I won't give her any for days now.

We rushed him to a vet (this all happened after hours) and the vet gave him a antibiotic injection as well as a cortesone injection. I told him that on the way to the clinic, my dog did not breath well. He did not open his mouth to check his breathing or check his throat. He listened to his hart and said his breathing was fine. He told us that we could take the dog home but we must realize the swelling will only go away in four to five days time, but we do not have to worry, our dog will be fine and won't die. We paid and took him home. I laid him down in my room next to our bed on a mattress with a blanket over him and gave him milk. He died six hours later. I feel that the doctor did not do enough and am wondering if there is anything I can do. I have lost my dog and will never have been back. Please give me advice

my dog had puppies exactly 3 wks ago, and she is already trying to wean them , is this normal?
these puppies are huge already, they have teeth , they are getting around real well and are able to eat and drink on their own, but aren't they a little too young to leave the mother?
she still lets them nurse sometimes just not as often as they would like

What can I feed them, or how can I help them out. We've found them starved there. A very common problem apprently. When my husband is around - I get him to take them out - but I think they end up back in the same place. Any suggestions?

ok, so I've followed the directions of the people who answered my question about the bunny biting the cage. I let her out even more- I let her out 3 hours this morning and then finally got her back in her cage. She won't stop biting it. She has plenty of toys & carboard to chew, plenty of pellet food and carrots to munch on. Yet she keeps biting on the cage! Is there anything non-toxic I can rub on the cage to get her to stop?
