What can I feed them, or how can I help them out. We've found them starved there. A very common problem apprently. When my husband is around - I get him to take them out - but I think they end up back in the same place. Any suggestions?

frogs eat bugs, worms etc.
You can get dry food for them at a local pet store and any information you need as well.
If you don't like to pick them up with bare fingers, use rubber/plastic gloves. They won't bite you etc. One of the reasons they might die on you, is the fact that they don't have the room to move around and should be set free.
But I am glad to hear there is someone else who cares about animals enough to look for help.

It sounds like you are referring to a species of tree frog. We had a similar problem with frogs falling between the screen and window pane, and then they could not get out and starved to death. Try modifying your window, so the frogs cannot get into the well. Close up any small openings with something flexible, so you can still open and shut your window.

Do not feed them, because it is a bad habit to feed wildlife. It encourages wildlife to frequent your place of residence, which will cause more problems in the long run.

Put something there so they won't get stuck. Hey I see little frongs on my living room window all the time, they have a little bit of yellow on their belly's. Is that what yours look like. I live in MO.

If you do have to pick them up make sure your hands are wet and cool. never pick up amphibians with dry hands, they are cold blooded and we are hot blooded, our skin burns theirs when in contact.
