My ADF is bloated and has red sores on her head, back, and legs. I am currently using penicillin and keeping her quarantine tank very clean and filled with spring water. Has anyone had success in curing their ADF of this problem? If so, please let me know how you did it. Also, does anyone know of any vets or herpetologists in the southern Michigan area that will treat ADFs?

Whenever I feed my rabbit, she always puts her front feet in the dish and digs knocking food out of the dish. She appears to be picking out the treats out of the food (which is mixed with pellets) and scrapping the pellets. I've tried changing her food to a different brand and she does it with all. She is wasting a lot of food and the food isn't cheap as some of you may know. Any help is appreciated.

I rescued a pregnant. feral cat Thursday night. She is living in our garage with her 5 month old kitten. We've been feeding them since June, and there are pretty friendly. She is very pregnant (I saw her mating, and her 5 month old has been nursing a few times since then). I made them suitable cages for living until we take them to the animal shelter. WE ARE NOT TAKING THEM BEFORE THE BIRTH, AND WE ARE NOT (I REPEAT -NOT-) ABORTING THE KITTENS OR PUTTING ANY OF THE CATS/KITTENS TO SLEEP! Shadow (the 5 month old kitten) is living with her mom until the birth, and the to cages can be opened and seperated in a matter of two minutes. I gave Mama a box, but Shadow only sleeps in it. Is she just not wanting to go in the box until birth? Please let me know anything that you know about feral/housed cat births. We aren't getting them spayed because we are taking them all to them shelter. When will I know to keep her in her cage when she's going to give birth? Is she breathing hard or purring?

His lips look very swollen and very red with white puss on the tips. He has also lost some color in his fins. At the tip of his back fin, it's starting to turn black. What can I do to heal him? He can't even eat because his lips are so big.

My 6 year old little girl dropped her chicken leg and my 13 week old mini dachsund grabbed it and ran off. When we caught him he was swallowing that weird little bone attached to the chicken leg. It went in dull end fist and he chewed a bit of it up. I know that is mostly cartilage, but I am still concerned. Has this happened to anyone elses pet? He did not break up the leg bone or anything... just that little bone that is attached.

I was given a female Malayan Box Turtle and I would like to know if there are breeders in the PA/NJ/DE area that has Males. I know they come from Asia, but I'm sure people must be breeding them here (at least I hope). I'm not looking to actually breed them myself, I just believe they should be kept in pairs. My Eastern Box turtles have done better in groups than alone.
