If you mean do I like German Shepherds, then the answer is YES!!!!
I have a 97 lb. male and a 85 lb. female that are terrific watchdogs. Nobody, but nobody, goes by our house with out getting noticed and they put the word out in NO uncertain terms that you had best be on your way if you know what is good for you.
I like what a friend of mine said about a female German Shepherd I gave him, "She sure has a pretty Colgate smile." In other words she was not just all bark and no bite, she wasn't afraid to back up her bark. But at the same time, he could say "Knock it off Tish" and she would go and lay down like nothing ever happened. God help you if you mess with one of the family. She stood up and all the hair on her neck was up when a boyfreind tried to pick up his girlfriend from the couch. He said "Pete, do something." Pete said "Tish lay down" and she went and layed down.
So, I won't be trading in my dogs anytime soon!!!!!

Yes. They are usually very smart, but are also very protective. While that is good for protection, it can be a problem if he/she bites someone or hurts another dog. Got to keep big dogs, any dog, under control and secured.
PS. we had a white Shepherd that was as dumb as a rock. I don't know if it is the breed of if this was an exception.

One of the best working dogs.Very good watch dogs,very loyal! Yes I love german shepards.

I like all dogs. A family member has had several shepards and they are nice pets and good companions.

yes they are very smart and protective dogs but I dont like it very much because they got to many problems on their hips, any ways it just my opinion..
But they are one of the most poppular dogs...
