She had him for 6 months until finally oneday she took him in her car and had a long ride to the country, where when she returned, she came back alone! Have any of you ever done this?

If someone sees you do this, can you get into trouble? What can happen? My friend lost about 1500 bucks by just letting the pup out in the middle of nowhere, that's her punishment!

Nope. When I have any dogs or cats ,it is for the life of the animal. It's a commitment I made to the animal. Animals are not disposable dish rags to throw away when they become to much of a inconvenience. This is a problem with our society ,and this is why there is such a over population of pets in shelters and why so many are euthanized. It's our societys metality that it's ok to discard and get something new . A life shouldn't be viewed that way.

No. Anyone who does this needs to have it done to themself, naked and in the middle of winter. How would you like to be dumped? Your neighbor is a coward and an animal abuser, and you can tell her so from me. There are humane societies, animal shelters, bulldog rescue, any number of alternatives to the loathesome, cowardly dumping of helpless animals.

Problems with animals are not the animal's fault - they are the owner's. Hopefully the poor dog found someone to take him in. At any rate he's better off dead than with your neighbor.

Do you ever ask her about this? That is animal cruelty and illegal. You can't just take a dog and drop it off somewhere. All dogs are trainable with the right methods and patience. For that matter, English bulldogs are expensive. Why wouldn't she sell him or give him away that is just wrong.
