Hello i have a cockatiel that is 4 monthes old, i am sure that she(maybe he) is molting. My question is.... Do birds get grumpy when they molt?

Also, She is almost solid yellow, with a little very light grey feathers on her wings, it seems that some of her new feathers are coming in also a very light grey (maybe cinnimon) replacing some of the yellow on her back and neck, is this normal?

Thank you for helping me out today!

I'm sick of spending money on new cat toys that my cat isn't interested in. A cardboard box keeps her happy for ages.

I brush my dogs' teeth several times a week (try to do it everyday but sometimes I forget), but my oldest dog has always resisted teeth brushing as I didn't start brushing her teeth until she was 6 years old. However, her breath has recently become horrible, so I really looked in her mouth and found that her fartherst back molar is quite decalcified and actually loose.

She had her regular vet do her physical last year and she said that while there was a little calculus build-up it wasn't worth putting her under to get her teeth cleaned. Last week she went and got a check-up with a different vet at the practice, who failed to even notice this problem..

She is not showing signs of discomfort, no changes in eating. I am concerned about this leading to kidney/liver problems, and would like it to be removed. Thing is, she is 11 y/o, so I'm really worried about the risks that come with anesthesia.

What should I do?

I have a dog that was using toilet training pads and sometimes having accidents in the apartment, but just stopped using the pads, and picks specific places to "go" in the apartment. I usually spend the entire day with him, but I can never catch him when he is actually "doing it" and only find it last second. I am getting frustrated as hell because for all the foward progress I am making with him, he seems to be regressing backwards. He is only over 3 months old. What am I doing wrong?

I have cut the toenails of our cats and dogs through the years with no problems. We now have a 12 wk old beagle and when I clip his nails - tips only, I know, so, no I am not clipping too short - he yelps and whines like it hurts. There aren't nerve endings in the tips of a beagles nails are there? Or is this just his own pet peeve? (pun intended!)

My dog loves to play but not really interested in going for walks, after 5 minutes of walking, he just sit on spot or just stand still like he wants to go back. I think it important to take the dog for an walk a day to keep healthy.

I have a betta in my 2.5 minibow with some other fish, but I got to get him out because he just killed one of my platies yesterday, so what do you suggest I get?? Like a special small betta aquarium or what? I don't want it to be too expensive, just a small good home for him. And with the small ones, how often should you clean them if there's no filter!?

She seems happy and healthy and has had all her shots. she does have 'accidents' down in the basement but they only seem to happen when she gets pissed off that she is being left down there.(because she will do it if she has just been let in and I put her down there because we are going somewhere). We also have a five year old(fixed) male dog. The female has been the dominant of the two since the second day we had her.

I have 2 hamsters, Stalin and Gorby, only problem is that the dog is really interested in them, like when ever hes in my room, he can not stand to be out of sight of the cage, he needs to know whare the cage is at all times, once it is opened, he will pop his head inside, and once he sees a hamster, he shoots back and no longer wants to be near tha hamsters, he doesnt do the same for the rats, as a matter of a fact, i had him on my futon while i was standing holding stalin i think, and the dog was shivering, he didnt like the fact that the hamster wasnt in the cage, i cant explain his reaction, i mean the hamsters arent evil, but bobby, the dog's name, is obcessed with the hamsters, the rats, he could care less, but its the hamsters, like when he falls asleep in my room, the cage is covered during the day sometimes, and he hears the pop from the metal cage door opening, he litterally jumps up and begins glaring, i dont see why he can be so obcessed with them.
