Oh if you want to know he's old egough to leave his mother. My boyfriends mom had a cat who just has kitten. They waited for them to leave thier mother. The cat had four kittens. All of them found loveing homes.

Yes I think that that would be a very good idea! Especially since it's a kitten. Because if your kitten sleeps with you it will trust you more and will like you better if you bond with it. I am alergic to cats but I still sleep with my cat. She is 7 (almost 8) years old. I just think it would be best to let your kitten sleep with you and if it doesn't WANT to, don't make it. Buy it a nice, fluffy cat bed and your kitten will have a blast! Good luck!

Awww...your new kitten sounds so cute!
First, make sure he is litter box trained. Put him in a spare bedroom or laundry room with food, water, and a litterbox. Keep him in there for a few hours until you see that he is using the litterbox and not making "messes" anywhere else. Some cats will teach their kittens to use the box, and others won't. If your kitten uses the litter box, then you can let him have run of the house. If he doesn't, make sure his food and water are on the opposite side of the room from the litter box. Clean up any messes, and place the mess in the litter box. It should only take him a day or two before he realizes that he's susposed to go in the litter box. My kitten wasn't litterbox trained when I brought him home, and it took him 2-3 days to get the hang of it.
There's no reason why your kitten can't sleep on the bed with you from Day 1. Most cats will find some comfy place to sleep, whether it be on the bed, couch, or sprawled out on the floor, and if you purchase a special bed for them, they most likely won't use it. Make sure he has an appropriate place to scratch. Scratching is really important for them, and they will do it on the couch, table legs, etc, unless you provide a scratching post.
Since it is a male kitten, you will want to get him neutered as soon as he is big enough (4 months). If you don't, he will mark the house by spraying urine everywhere, and once a cat starts doing that, it's almost impossible to teach them otherwise.
Good luck with your new kitten!

Unless you want it to wee on you I wouldnt recommend it.
How old is the kitten? 8-12 weeks old? It will be scared, in a new place etc. Make sure it has a nice warm place to sleep, a large cushion or blanket in a quiet part of the house would be fine.
Make sure it has access to fresh water and food. Expect some toilet accidents at first. Get a cat litter tray, keep it clean, tn him in it afer he has eaten. If he does wee or poo on the floor, just lift him and put him in the tray, he will soon get the message. If he starts weeing in the corners of rooms, put a bowl of water in the corner. That will sto him going there and he will soon get the message.
Dont know where you are in the world, but go to some of the cat food manuacturers websites (Whiskas or Go Cat etc.) and see their information on kittens. Look up kitten care on Google for more info.
Once he is 4-5 months old, you should be OK to take him into the bedroom. But remember if you are going to let him outside, he WILL catch fleas, guaranteed!
Make sure you get his injections and give him worming tablets on a regular basis. Speak to the local vet about what is required. A lot of the shop bought flea remedies are no good. Use Frontline or Advantage or something similar as advised by the Vet.
And remember to play with him! you dont need fancy cat toys. Tops of Coke bottles, ping pong balls, a cardboard box with a hole cut in it, cats are very good at having fun!

A kitten is the easiest to house train. By all means it should sleep on the bed..It will get up to use the litter box when the time comes. It may cry for its mother. Being near you will help that.

The kitten will probably like to sleep in the bed with you, because of the warmth from your body. As the kitty gets a little bit older you may want to have a little bed for him/her in your room, so they have the option of sleeping by themselves. But I don't really see a problem with having them in the bed for the beginning. It's really up to you.

Your baby can sleep with you, but depending on how old the baby is you may wake up in a little pee puddle, possibly worse, because he can't get off the bed to get to the litter box. You may want to start him out on a little pillow beside your bed, until he is big enough to get off and on the bed on his own. It sounds like your baby will be in a loving home and will be comfortable no matter what. I hope this helps.

It depends, if you want him to sleep with you all the time then yeah if not then no, but if you want to have a good relationship with your cat then you might want to allow him to sleep with you. It will let your cat bound with you.

Your cat will decide for you. Keep in mind they are the boss. The cat owns the house and they allow you to stay there. Congrats !
