My 4 month old puggle has fleas, I treated her with a flea treatment today. Is there anything else I can do,and how long should it take for the treatment to kill her fleas? She is having trouble eating, and I am really worried.

I've tried adding Vitamin E to his diet, it doesn't seem to be helping. We have also tried an oatmeal shampoo, but to no avail.

Three days ago I acquired for free an AKC Beagle Female unspayed which is getting done on the 4th! that is 3 years old from a trainer that uses them for trials ( that is to run rabbits as a sport) he did not want her because she was to slow her whole life she had lived in a box that is where she ate slept and pottied Now I need her to go out side and do her business. I take her out ever 2 hours but have only had good results 3 times mostly it is on my other dogs blanket which is what she had in her box was an old blanket.. that laid on 1/2 of a metal grate. Now she is loving the comfort of her new life but I really need to get this house breaking done quickly. Any Help?

I am going to start working full time and wont have be at home to take care of my dog. Is it possible to be at work all day with out taking my dog out to use the bathroom. Because I usaully take him outside 4x a day so he can handle his business how would I be able to do this working 12 hours.

I am moving in 2-3 weeks across country and I am driving . Since I am driving I for such a long drive I don't think it would be possible because it would take 4 days to get there and I would have to find somewhere him to go the restroom and that is just to much work and I am afraid he might pee in my car. Plus I am moving to an apartment and dont think it would be to good taking him with me. I am only staying in this new state for 3 mo. and what should I with while I am gone.

I have a couple of love birds, but to me they look alike, this is my dilema I know they are male and female because they have had 2 times little babyes.first time they had 2 and I give it away as a pair this time they have 5 ....how can i tell that they are male or female...any specific things to look for...like the bick or the tail or what ....when I bouth the birds I just pick them from a bunch..and I end up with a couple that had 7 birds already

Hi. I need some help please. My puppy,about 3 months old,has found a BASS fish hook somewhere and it is now stuck through the front of her lip. The barb is through. I don't really have the money to take her to the vet. How can I go about getting this out? I know it's going to hurt her but is there anything I can do to ease the pain?? ... and how do I get it out (My boyfriends Puppy actually but he's at work and won't be home for a couple more hours) She seems to be okay unless she hits it on something then the shakes her head and goes back to what she was doing. I feel so bad and theres not much I can do right now other then find out what needs to be done for when my boyfriend gets home. Should I take her to the VET and spend loads of money or try it ourselves first?? And again is there any kind of medicine you can give a dog for pain?

we have this 27 year old horses and well last night fell down and get get up. we pertty sure he's going to die. we no way to haul him off of our protery. we called the vet and they said there was no places around to come haul off a dead horse. she said to dig a hole and burry him. well we can't dig a hole that big. another vet said to just compost him. and someone elas said to cut him up and burn him. i have no ideal what to do. so i turning to u for some help. does any one out there know what we can do.

I breed my female Shih tzu with a male Shih tzu that belongs to a friend. This breeding was done to make a bit of extra cash on my part. I did not take my female to be X-rayed to find out how many puppies were on the way, because I was not worried about her delivering her puppies. On September 16th after 6 hours of labor my female delivered only one pup in the litter. The owners of the male allowed us to use their male with only one condition that they receive a puppy in return, which was fine with us. We never discussed what would happen if she were to only have one puppy. Keeping both parties in mind what do you think would be the right thing to do. (Please keep in mind that the puppy cannot be sold/removed from the mother until it is 8 weeks old and has been weaned off of the mother's milk to puppy food.) So , who gets the puppy......????
