My friends African Grey has escaped. They are distraught. He has been gone since Sunday. We have done posters, police, searches etc, to no avail.
How long can he survive outside??

She tested positive with this last week. Even though she didn't seem to be in any pain, she has lost weight and just not herself. Then started coughing constantly and difficult breathing. We started the treatments (chemo) sp? which was a 4 dose shot and meds. She needs to have a shot weekly for 6 weeks. Her coughing almost stopped and her breathing is much better. Has any one had this treatment done for their dog and how long did they live? She is eating better but has thrown up a few times and has frequent urination. I assume this is from the meds.

I will soon be moving about 1200 miles away, and will be driving with my dog. Does anyone have any tips on how to handle this? Are dogs okay with driving long distances? (My dog does fine going to the vet or the park.) How often should we stop? Should we feed him on our stops, or will that make him sick? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks! (P.S. He's a black lab mix, if that makes a difference.)

everytime i pick up my bunny his ears are extremely warm. i know you can check a dogs temp. by their ears but is it the same way for bunnies. his ears are really warm but he acts fine. is he sick?

she is on her period and she is bleeding EXTREMELY HEAVY, and she has diarrhea , and she cant stop drooling (german shephpard) she is drooling way too much, she was laying in a puddle of her drool, i know its not normal, and she cries all day long, shes gone crazy i swear, what could be wrong with her?

not excessive or anything, but the goo seems to stain his fur. He is 3, have had him a couple of weeks. Does anyone know a way to get rid of the staining? I just gave him a bath, and he is really good about letting me wipe at the area, but I cannot get the stains off....any ideas??

We took one tiny tiny kitten in and it has been showing positive results I am assuming from the food and higher temps in the house as it is getting ver chilly at night here in CT. However she still has puss on eyes and they other kittens outside I checked on today are getting worse. Two of the kittens were fine than all of a sudden they are getting these puss closed eyes. We would like to do something until we can get a vet to address this problem. Yesterday someone said go have them put down which I am against. As a person I would rather be sick living than sick dead so any suggestions? Also if they use an antibiotic can you tell me which ones and mg per lb?

I do have some around the house which I used before but have lost the sheet of lb/mg ratio.

There was a stray cat that was outside who had a batch of four kittens. We have taken the one that was smallest in trying to get her fixed up. We seemed to remove all the fleas and larvi via bath but on her face what I am guessing is flea larvi. It looks like little white specs which seem to be moving if you look very close. My posts from yesterday seem to point to flea larvi. I am just concerned what I can put on her head to get rid of them.

We are unable to bring the kitten/s to a vet as of yet. So over the counter is only methd possible as of this week. Anythinng that is better than nothing.

And do males or females get long more smoothly with smaller dogs (i.e. Yorkies). There are no children in the equation.
