I have a pug dog, I am wondering how cold it will be before it is too cold for him to be outside longer than a potty break.

They can tolerate the out of doors about as long as you can..He will shiver and let you know when he is too cold to play..He will be happier longer wearing a sweater..
Mine hated rain the most..couldn't get him to go outside, off the porch, without me..

I leave my pug dog outside all day up until the stage to where you can see your breath or about time wise 8:30pm to 9:00 pm and in the morning it is just a potty break and then back in the house and I keep checking the weather temperatures to see when I can take him out. I also think that maybe 35 degrees is a go if they wear a sweater and then take it off when it warms up more.

Pugs don't take cold well at all. You may want to see about getting him a coat - my friend has a parka for her boy! Sweaters are available at most pet stores, and they like them. At least Nemo the friend's dog does! He thinks he's cool in the parka, too! It gets in the 20s-30's in Texas and she doesn't let him stay outside longer than it takes to go when it's below about 40-50 degrees. Or when it's real hot. Which pretty much makes him a house dog in Texas! ;-)
