Your question is good because it is better that you know the truth before you get scammed. Dogs that are bread to be too small get sick much more easily and have all of the health problems of a screwed up gene pool, and they often have throw backs to the regular size. Many times this will kill the mother during birth.
Check the standards before you buy anything, if it is not in the standards then you are getting taken.

A tiny or a teacup is just another name for a runt puppy. More often than not, these runt puppies suffer congenital heart or liver defects such as; Patent Ductus Venosus, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Ventral Septal Defect, Atrial Septal Defect , Pulmonic Stenosis or Mitral Valve Dysplasia.
Most buyers are unsuspecting of these inherited defects and the unscrupulous backyard breeders either don't know the symptoms to look for to detect such defects or simply don't give a gnat's navel if they sell a defective puppy as long as they get their money! Some of these congenital problems don't even show up until the puppy is older.
A small in stature puppy is not the best puppy regardless if the breeder labels it a "tiny teacup" and demands a higher price. If you want a Toy breed, look for a reputable breeder who breeds puppies according the AKC standards and buy the robust puppy in the litter.
I've seen many heartbroken dog owners who've been suckered into buying the "teacup" puppy, only to find out the it's going to die or they are going to have to break the bank to try to save the puppy with costly surgeries.
Who wants to walk a hamster on a string anyway?

certain breeds like poodles for instance come in a few sizes. Standard, miniature, toy, and teacup. They don't get any smaller than that, and personally I don't know anyone that would want one. Might as well get a rat. There is no such thing as "micro" anything...teacup yorkies do not exist its weight is the standard size for a yorkie. Yorkies are already small, its considered a toy breed. same with chihuahuas and malteses. most of the time, pet stores are trying to scam you. just remember, the smaller the dog, the more care they are going to need and the more health risks they have.

A tinie group does not officiallly exist. Any dogs smaller than the normal 'toy' group size usually are runts with health problems. Definitely beware!
