I have two pom's and the male dog has always ate the others poop. I try to stop him but he continues to run directly over to where the other dog pooped and eat faster than I can get to it. He has even eaten his own poop. I know its nasty, and the other dog doesnt eat poop, so I know its just him. I want to stop this because one its nasty and two his breath literally smells like crap! Help!

We rescued a chihuahua mix at about 4 months, it had red mange, was malnourished and kept outside. She is healthy now and a wonderfull loyal little dog, sometimes naughtly as she is just a year old, but i can not get her to stop doing her business on the bed. I have two other chihuaha's and have had not problems. I have tried puppy pads, she will go outside when i take her but if she has the oportunity to get in the bedroom she leaves something behind, and it does not matter if she just went outside. I have tried a baby gate, which she jumps over, I close the door, but i am in and out of the bedroom all the time and sometimes forget to close it all the way Its like she waits for the oportunity to do this. She does not do this when i am in there or at night when she sleeps with me. And when she does do it she knows she is wrong and runs from me. HELP I am sick of changing the bed daily. And she gets just as much if not more attention from me as the older dogs.

she has been panting real hard for about 6 hours now, and she has the chills, I checked her temp, its 99.7.... just how long will it take for her first pup to be born, should I stay with her,?

I had to leave my 7 month old shih tzu for a few days last week and I think my moms shih tzu male got her. I am worried about her age and whether or not she could physically give birth to puppies (she is presently 9lbs) and if she would be too immature to care for puppies. I really didnt mean for this to happen and I feel awful. I dont want to lose her to the birth process. She has thrown up a few times and her nipples are hard and stick out (they didnt before). I would appreciate anyones insight on this one. Thanks so much!

Do dogs have to breed the whole time female is in heat to become pregnant? My female was in heat and still has a week to go, Smaller male got her a few times, Mostly slip matings, but 2 ties for 10min, I took him home and I was wondering if she could be pregnant?

Has anyone heard of Iverhart Plus Blue heartworm pills? My vet is now carrying this brand and I'm concerned because my dog weighs 4 lbs and this medicine is for 0-25 pounds. Seems like a big weight difference!
