Neuter the cat and eliminate all of the odor from where he has sprayed: Otherwise he will probably come back and mark it again.
You might end up having to take up the carpet, then sealing and painting the floor and wall.

its next to impossible, first make sure hes neutered, then you can put stuff that cats hate the smell of in that corner, they carry some sprays, which i dont think work, but you can try putting a plant in the corner with a bunch of citrus rinds in it, they hate the smell of that

No...I had a cat that sprayed on one spot I cleaned it and it kept doing it. It got so bad I ripped up the carpet and pad...and bleached the floor. and guess what...it still did it...I had to get rid of him.

One way is to get him fixed. There are also products available to deterr the spraying. Look in the pet dept at your favorite store.

It sort of depends on the age.If he is not litter box trained.Maybe block the place with something like maybe a trash can or trash bag or something.
