she has been panting real hard for about 6 hours now, and she has the chills, I checked her temp, its 99.7.... just how long will it take for her first pup to be born, should I stay with her,?

ok people, stick a vet up your ***......jeez, its only pups. call a vet, vet, vet,,,,,VETS dont know half of what they should when it comes to pets, Vets killed 2 of my pets due to their lack of skills, so STOP IT with the vet crap

She should be having it soon. my friends pit just had hers. There is nothing that you can do, she will prepare herself for the delivery. Just check on her periodically.

yes you should check on her once in a while and take her to her vet they might know how long it will be till the pups are born good luck.

it depends on the dog....it could take alittle while...stay with her just in case anything happens...if nothing happens within the next hour call the vet and ask them what they think...good luck

i dont know but it can b bad and dangerous for her so why not call a vet to help ur dog

Yes you should stay with her.If there is no progression soon call the vet.
