My puppy is in the hospital after having eaten 2 Advils. It's been 4 days and he's doing well and showing lots of signs of improvement. But the vets say he needs to stay another day to be monitored and get fluids.
I was wondering if anyone had experience with vets. At $400/day, I really can't afford to leave him there if it's not totally necessary....and I'm not really sure if an IV is necessary.....
I want to do the best thing for him, but I'm not sure if I trust these vets to only do what's NECESSARY.

my husband can usually pick up the cat to go to the vet but yesterday she almost hurt him and now my sister in law wants the cat to be gone i have never picked her up myself because i am afraid to drop her plus the cat does not want to be picked up she just comes to me when she wants some affection plus she sleeps with me at night in my bed so what can i do when i have to go to the vet for her shots etc without my husband getting involved? she came to our door three years ago almost dead and we were able to save her. also she goes outside during the day but doesnt leave the patio then comes inside when it gets dark i really care for her can you help me solve this problem please yahoo have always helped me i am counting on your expertise. thanks

shes been to the vets with the runs and sickness. I was told to try her with chicken and rice to soothe her belly. i made her the chicken and rice, and like her normal dog food she is refusing to eat it. however my daughter had a sandwich and gave the dog her crusts, which to my surprise she ate happily. So I got her a peice of whole meal bread and gave it to her in bitesize bits, again she ate this. I then tried to hand feed her chicken and rice which she turned her nose up at.
Is it ok to give her whole meal bread and can anyone suggest what else I can try for a sensitive belly without breaking the bank?

I may be moving to the other side of the country next year.
How do I fly with my 2 cats?
I heard that some flights let you carry them on?!?!
How does this work and tell me how I should go about doing this.

Should I punish my dog? She got my coat off the clean laundry table pulled it into her cage and chewed it!!!! I cost 60 $$ but it was during the day while I was at work.... should i punish her (and if i should how should i do it) and if i shouldn't how can i let her know that was bad and still have her love..... PLZ HELP.....

I got a colllar to stop him at his legs. I'm afraid he "eats them". It's on two weeks and his legs have recovered, but any time I take it off he starts again!

I have a long white haired, less then 12 pound dog and live in the country. She gets dirty very quickly and after a bath is still dirty looking. I have taken her to several different groomers, sometimes she comes back shinny white other times she is just clean with what seems like dirt stains (dingy brown spots)

I have a 10 gallon tank with three female bettas and I'm in the market for a new filter. It needs to be quiet, gentle, and preferrably cheap. What do you use in your betta tank and how well does it work? Information on brands and models would be appreciated, as well as price (I'm a college student so budget it kind of a big deal).

I fed them bermuda hay, timothy, orchard grasses and frozen veggies last year.I dried clean fresh grass, clover and weeds when available to feed that during the winter months.. What else can I feed them to prevent their shell from pyramidding. They also get calcium from dandelions but I can't find too many of them around my property though I have ten acres. I would prefer to not feed them store bought or commercial foods. Anyone have any ideas?

I love what these creatures stand for and feel a bond, and longing to be-friend one; I've read much of them and their unbreakable nature; what I fear & feel concerned is that I will have a caged animal that will grow frustrated & lash-out; has anyone own one? Have you had any trouble? :about licensing, attacks, etc. Would the pair be best? I was thinking on getting a male. I would appreciate some insight. Thanks.
