then brought them home to me, and lined them up beside me....when I woke up,

they were painfully alive...he was soo proud...question is, can I stop him from doing this again? the snake bit me and I had to go to the ISIS clinic and take antivenom etc.

this is kinda hard to explain (and its a stupid question), because humans use words to talk when they think they hear their own voice in there head but animals use body language to comunicate so does this mean that when they think of something they see a tail wagging or ears sticking up etc etc.

We have one too many dogs that our lease aggreement does not allow. I am looking for some type of program that can help me place my beloved pet to a good and caring family. If someone could help with information about such a program it would truly be appreciated.

I want to get a dog, preferably a medium size one that doesn't shed. I don't like sitting in or seeing dog hair. It gives me bad feelings. I was eating at somebody's house and I noticed there was dog hair in the food which activated my gag reflex! So absolutely, no dog hair.

My kitty is pure perfection, she is a rescued cat that has never missed the litterbox and has lots of energy to play whenever you feel like it. But whenever we put her in her carrier to go to the vet or anywhere she defecates. If we put her in her carrier for 2 seconds she defecates. It is so embarrasing, she wasn't like this before, the problem started when a vet was really rough with her and hurt her bu t t, he had to take a stool sample and hurt her really bad. We just took her to the cat hotel and the people there told us she defecated all over her carrier. IT IS SO EMBARRASING!. Any advice on why she does it and how to train her to not do it?

Home remedies, store bought products. Whatever works to help his tummy and stop the nasty odors.

I have two kittens from the same litter. Both were found without a mother. They're 6-7 weeks old. It looks like they're trying to nurse on eachother except one will start trying to "nurse" on the other's crotch. The cat whose crotch is being . . ."nursed" . . . doesn't seem to mind. What the hell is going on?!

Well, my neighbors across the street have 3 pits. 2 are pups about 5 months old. The other is a $3,500 blue male. They think that Sugar, one of the pups, has parvo. They brought her to the vet and I think the vet thinks it's parvo. They said she's had bloody stool and urine and she's skinny. I don't know if they know that the only way to disinfect parvo infected areas is to clean it with bleach water. And if the dog's been using the bathroom in their yard and around the other dogs, then their whole yard could be infected... They keep asking for our old kennel that's in my back yard b/c they need it to put either her or Haze (blue pit) in. But we had already promised it to a guy next door. That was about a month ago and he still hasn't gotten it, so my mom said she'll just give it to the family with the pits. But I'm worried that if she comes into our yard to get it, she could be dragging the virus from her yard into our yard from her shoes or something.

We just got this cat, along with another cat, from a cat rescue shelter. They are both females, about 1 yr. old. The one has adjusted very well, but the other one seems always afraid of everything and wants to hide. The one wants to play, but the other one wants nothing to do with her, and does not want to play, even if we try to play with her alone. We have to find her & bring her out to her food & then she will eat. We put her in our laps & try to comfort her, but she will only stay as long as we hold on to her gently. As soon as we let up, she will jump down & return to a hiding place. - Cathy

Why do mail trucks and delivery trucks like UPS and stuff like that drive dogs crazy? Or I should say some dogs? My Silky goes crazy everyday at mail time ! Running and barking like a mad man, By the way his name is OZZY , after ozzy Osborne, LOL Luckily we have an invisable fence so he can't get out and chase them. But you always know when the mail is comming or someone is getting a delivery. Our other two dogs, A Sheltie and a Westie will join him, but if their in the house and don't hear him they could care less. Anyone have any thoughts?

We've tried bathing her (which of course she hates) - doesn't work. I feed her Iams hairball dry food because she can't keep the canned food down. She doesn't seem to itch or scratch much but her coat kind of jumps when I touch her back. My husband won't even touch her anymore to keep from stirring up the flakes. The vet didn't seem too concerned. This is not typical dandruff - it's massive. We've started calling her Snow White or Pig Pen (poor sweet kitty). Does anybody have any suggestions?

i have a 14 week old german shepherd bith , i have had her for 2 weeks now i got her when she was 12 weeks old.she is a brilliant puppy , loves playing and chewing my arm, she has not had 1 accident in the house at all , she goes all night with no problems and runs in to the garden in the morning, i could not ask for a better pup, however she has not barked or made a noise apart from the odd gruff when she is sniffing around in the garden, is there a certain age that they bark or could there be a problem.

I've currently got a fish, which has just lost some fins like 10 minutes ago, cuz my lil bro (3 yrs) put his hand in the bowl!!! but he's ok now, cuz I see him swimming around happily once again. He was in shock for a few minutes. I think he'd be safe in a bigger place, like a 10 gall tank, where my bro won't be able to reach and bother the fish. Anyways, what is a compatible group for my fish for a 10 gallon tank?
