I have two kittens from the same litter. Both were found without a mother. They're 6-7 weeks old. It looks like they're trying to nurse on eachother except one will start trying to "nurse" on the other's crotch. The cat whose crotch is being . . ."nursed" . . . doesn't seem to mind. What the hell is going on?!

They are not trying to do anything sexually. When kittens are weaned from their Mommies too soon then they will still have the strong need to suckle, and will often even do so into adulthood. I had a cat that used to try and nurse on our bathroom throw rug. It it just soothing to them.

They may have been weaned to early and nurse on each other because of it. They should stop doing that once they get older.

as young as they are they are just trying to adjust to mama being gone. as to the crotch check with the vet.

still young and just confused, feed them with a bottle and kitten formula you can get this at any pet store..even wal-mart

lol I have no answer...but EW! lol...maybe they are lesbians....I had friend who had for real lesbian cats...they wren't fixed, and they wanted nothing to do with any cat other than each other. Every time a male cat (unneutered) came around, they were totally disinterested.
