my brother gave the two turtles a bath and one of the turtles' eyes are swollen and red when they are closed. he think that the temperature of the water may be a factor. i went on line to search for a solution and have found some answers. However, none seem to match the turtle's condition. I would like the address to a vet that specializes in reptile health.

and I am told it's ok to feed them bread with a little mold on it, (I've seen people with gross green bread) Is that Ok? I would think the mold would hurt them.

My neighbors lock their dogsoutside during the days in sunny Central Fl. They are in a 12X12foot Chain-link fence with a tarp draped over part of it. Often, they bark and whine. Is this ok? What can I do, I mean, they are my neighbors and I don't want to be putting my nose in their business? At the same time, why get dogs just to lock them up outside? ANyways... thanks for the help.

Dogs and cats are just as edible as your beef, chicken, and pork. Besides, other cultures also eat bats, snakes, mice, and frogs, but no one seems to be complaining about that. How unfair.

Hey for people who like dogs, and would like to have a kennel online, the best website is www.showdog.com It is really fun and you can enter them in shows and stuff. The basic membership is free, but there is more available on premium memberships. I had a basic membership for awhile and it is also fun. just to let you know about it. The only thing they send you in an e-mail is your username and password(they give you a password, so write it down.), so you dont get a newsletter or anything. There is also a site Like this for cats called www.showcats.com which is made by the same company, and is the same exactly exept for it is with cats. I have one on both, but i pay more attention to my dog one. My name on it is batouttaheck, and i breed alaskan malamutes. asprin is ok to give to cats childrens chewable my vet said so and i give my cat angle a half a childrens chewablw a day to help her with her arthritus my cat is almost 16 years old and doing fine she favos the cherry 1s better then the orange so just be sure you get the right dossage from your vet have a good day

Ok guys... simple survey question. If you could have any exotic animal for a pet what would it be and why? My exotic pet would definetly be a white tiger... they are so rare and beautiful, i love white tigers, especially the ones with blue eyes. in a way they remind me of christ and the cross. they have so many stripes like the ones christ took for us... then they are so white.... white as snow, like we are when we enter the kingdom of God. but i cant get over how gentle these creatures can be, yet they can also be fierce, that characteristic they never lose. so what's your exotic animal? a parrot? a dolphin? a chupacabra?! lol... tell me what YOU think......

Lucky was found abounded about 2 weeks ago my mom and I have been bottle feeding him and caring for him since. I bath him in warm water trying to get rid of the fleas almost daily yet there is just more the next day. Is there anything I can safely use on him at his age?

Most people feed their dog really bad dog foods, has anyone looked at the ingredients of them?? I was just curious how many people feed trash foods such as beneful and pedigree. I recently switched my dog to a better food. While more expensive at least I dont feel like I am poisening her.

I woke up this morning to find one of my hermit crabs had changed shells overnight. I've only had them for a few months and this is the first time one of them has changed shells.

Is there anything special care (besides the usual misting, feeding, etc) I should give my crab now that he has moved in to his new home? Should I get rid of the old shell? There is another (slightly larger) crab in the tank - I know they like to be in groups, but will the new-shell crab feel threatened? (I do have a plastic separator to put in the tank if needed)

She used to run to the bowl everytime we fed her, but now she eats only a little bit at a time, slowly through the day. She is otherwise healthy so is she just tired of her brand of food? Should we try switching it or just wait this out?
