Dogs and cats are just as edible as your beef, chicken, and pork. Besides, other cultures also eat bats, snakes, mice, and frogs, but no one seems to be complaining about that. How unfair.

For those of you who didn't know, cows actually cry right before their heads get chopped off. Think about that before you complain about people who eat dogs and cats.

Dogs and cats are popular pets in this culture, and to most people pets are like family. So to some it's almost like eating a family member.

Well, To me cats and dogs are pets, but then I was born and raised in America where that is NORMAL. To the other countries, us keeping them as pets is something for them to complain about. I would never eat one, along with many other animals. It's not unfair it's just how we are raised to look at life.

Because (and I am guessing) the majority of the people here have pets or are close to pets. Cats and dogs are treated more like people then the other countries and people just don't see cats and dogs as just another animal. I do believe that cat and dog and even human(not like I'm about to eat it!) are just as eatable however.

I don't think people should eat pork either. Pigs are intelligent and can develop relationships with people. There are some animals that it just seems inhumane to eat. Especially the ones that develop relationships with humans.

Some cultures will eat only white dogs.

If you live in a third world country and poverty is one of the main problem, they can eat anything that is edible. Besides, its legal in some countries.

I would suggest you look up Peta, and look up how the "other" people or groups slaughter their dogs for fur for boots to sell over here, and how they will strip the dogs fur off them while they are still alive, laying bloody and bleeding, and will die soon after....You are one who needs information on this cruel culture, especially when money is ruling the kill.
