I've had to wrestle a 150-lb. one away from other dogs, but he's never been aggressive towards me.

One of my pits is very dog aggressive but of course at 5 months old when he was tied 2 my fence 4 me 2 take care of I tried 2 socialize him and found out the hard way. After that I am very aware and keep him away from my other dogs and watch where we walk. I have control over him and he listens 2 me cause I work with him everyday. It's a lot of work but I love him 2 death and I am his only hope. He is very happy being the only dog and I tell ya when he got into that fight at 5 months old I was scared sh*t! But I handled the situation and I learned from it. I love pit bulls and I think if I had him at an earlier age (3months) like my other pit (who loves everyone and everything) than I think he would have had a chance. I think he was used in fighting and I just have 2 understand that he can only have "human" friends and he seems 2 be fine with that. Anyone who plans on getting a pit I strongly advise-----DO THE RESEARCH! They can be a handful and r a lot of work.

One time I was walking my Doberman and a Pit attacked him while I was stuck to the leash. fortunately it did not last long and my dobby sent him off. I ended you being able to get behind a door till it was over. In the pit's defense when I was out without the dog he was very friendly and I had no problems with him.
In the end a dog act and reacts according to how it has be raised.
