Hi there...eating cats or dogs isn't reserved just in indonesia. Koreans, Chinese, Vietnamese and other asian cultures eat them as well. They believe by eating them there's a mythical cure . Anyhow, here's one website about this : http://www.koreananimals.org/dogs.htm

Oh my gosh that's horrible I love cats!! Why don't they eat something else like fish?? Cats and dogs aren't meant to be eaten they have feelings!!!

Or maybe because there is a lot of cats and they just found it was edible. Cats aren't that tasty anyhow.

the same way the aztecs ate chihuahuas, they dont see them as pets, they see them as typical farm animals like we see cows
