how do i tell if rocks that i find in nature are safe to put in my aquarium? i know there is something about them making calcium deposits or something and i dont want to hurt my tank. where is a good place to find safe rocks? i am on a budget and dont have the money to go to the store and spend 30 bucks on a rock.

I spend a lot of time with him, and he has free roam of my room, I hardly ever lock him in his cage, and he always seems happy to see me, so I can only think he's a pretty happy guy... but I keep reading all this stuff about them needing a bunny companion. But do you really think he knows what he's missing? Should I really get him another bunny?

I have a male lhasa apso and somone I know is wanting to use him as stud to breed with her female lhasa apso. We verbally agreed on either pick of litter or stud fee, but I do not know what to charge. Help!!!! This way I can get it in writing!

I feed her Nutro brand food, and she doesnt have hairballs, since her fur is very short and she sheds little, and I brush her regularly. She just likes to vomit every other day or so. She is strictly indoor, so she doesnt eat grass or any other plants. She seems healthy enough, and was at the vet last month for her checkup and spay surgery.

Serious: I would like to know, as this is my first cat, and never knew this could happen!
I have a two year old cat - A bit over weight. He suddenly when trying to walk would fall over.
Going to the vet I was told he was born with bad knees. I asked why after two years had it developed now! He said it could happend again, but the weight doesn't help.
He showed me, and I heard it the knees popping.
I was so frightened I thought he'd never be able to walk agian. Vet gave in an inflammatory shot.
It has been two weeks Fritz has become more active but knows his limits and lays down.
I had to lift him into the litter box... etc
As a human who has thrown out his back, I was told it will be the same for Fritz to heal his knees!
P.S. Fritz is on a diet!

You all had very kind answers. Our sweet little Dixie passed in my arms earlier today, before we could get her to the vet today. My wife and I were blessed with a very loving wonderful cat. OUR two other sweet cats and a very wonderful German Shepard will help us cope with our loss. Thank you all, and God bless you.

My dog is a cocker spanial that is about 7mo old. She is potty trained except for the fact that she is constantly peeing out of excitement.... If a visitor shows up she pees, when you go to pet her she pees, if you want to pick her up she will pee all over you! I don't know what to do. Its getting to be too much!!! Is there anyone that could give me any useful advice about this that might help?

Hi...I have bird that surrounds my house and evertime someone steps outside, the bird comes and attacts me and my family....I think that she laid eggs some where around the house and that maybe the reason y...I don't want to be violent...but Im tired of being attact in the presences of my own property. How much food should I give her each day?She is 3 months old.I'm giving her a 1-1/2 cups of dry food 3 times a day and she is still hungry.She only weighs about 25 pounds.
