I honestly think so! When I was pregnant with my son, my female cat suddenly hated me to death whereas my mother's male suddenly adored me. Their attitudes towards me had changed before I even knew I was pregnant...right around the time that we *know* had to be when conception occurred. After I gave birth, the female cat calmed down and the male cat was more interested in the baby.

Their attitudes changed again when I was pregnant with my daughter. That time, the male cat hated me and the female cat was all over me.

Probably. The sense of smell of an animal is incredible. And the connection a pet has to it's master is amazing, so miss nympho, if you ever get knocked up, you know what to expect.

Definitely. My momma cat seemed to think we had a lot more in common I think. She seemed excited about it. Like I finally got knocked up like her. My dog seemed to know too. Wasn't weirded out or nothin when we brought the baby home and we had had the dog for 7 ;yrs or so before baby. I think they all knew it was comin.

I heard that some animals can sense when a female is menstruating. I have not heard anything about sensing a pregnancy. Sorry.

When I was pregnant cats and dogs would always come up to me and be really gentle. I've heard that they can sense it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they could, I mean, animals can sense storms, seizures before they happen, and can even detect tumors in people. I would say yes.
