I'm about to adobt a female rottweiller, who is only going to weigh 35 pounds at middleage opposed to the usual 180 pounds. It's a nice mix.

I can't think of a name for it though

Yesterday, I saw a mourning dove sitting on a wire in my backyard, and it was swaying back and forth. I thought it might be stuck somehow, but within a minute, it laid an egg that fell to the ground and smashed. I checked out the egg, it had a yolk, and looked just like a chicken egg. Does anyone know why it did that?

my cats and dogs have fleas, i bought some flea stuff at the store but it doesn't seem to be working. i looked on the internet for some other ways to get rid of fleas. i found one where you use lemons. so my question is has anyone tried it? if so does it work? or do you have any other ideas?

Last night i got a Wiener dog and when I brought it home, my cat put is nose up to the dog and the dog licked it, then my cat acted like it was going to strike the puppy.

Today I had the cat on my sholder in the dining room and it seen the dog in the carrying case and it started hissing and clawing into me.

Is their anyway to get the two along?

Thge vet cleaned out the maggots and put him on antibiotics, but there are still some maggots we can't seem to get out. The vet seems to think this is normal. I'm worried the cat needs some time to heal before he travels agian. Should I take him to a different vet?

My Weim has very short light hair, i give him a bath once a week with flea-egg killing shampoo that says it lasts a month. I dont give him frontline or anything like that, but i have never had fleas before. I just found ONE flea on him. it was easy to see with his coat. I didnt see any others but I gave him another bath anyway.

Do i need to fog the house and his bedding now that i found that one?

There is a stray that my hubby and I have been feeding right now it's an outside cat not sure if it's ever been inside a home. We r talking about adopting it and bringing it inside so am wondering if anyone has done that and if there were problems with the cat adjusting to no longer being outside or with even training them to use a liter box?
