Did you ever see the play CATS ? It is based on T.S.Elliott's poem, The Naming Of A Cat. A cat MUST have 3 names. The poem is hilarious ! Read it at :

So, I think at least one of your cat's names should be one of yours, too.....maybe goldenhair ....... A cat is sometimes referred to in sorcery as a "familiar" which is "an attending spirit", so the naming of your cat should be very personal. Name it something YOU enjoy like 'chocolate', 'cocoa', 'creamer', 'meUmeU', yada, yada, yada .....

Don't have a name, but a suggestion when picking one. Give him a first, middle and last name that have a nice ring to it. My cat's name is Casperado Von Meowling, Casper for short.
