My cat always plays with his water before he drinks it - this makes a very LARGE mess of the floor and gets into his dry cat food and makes that mush - for a while were putting a bowl in the bathtub and he'd drink fine out of that. However we are moving to a new apartment and I want him to drink out of a bowl like all other cats.

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE & THANK YOU.

I have two ferrets one is 6 years the other about 4 1/2. My six year old female ferret has recently lost all of her hair except for what is on her head. She still eats, sleeps and plays like she always has. The vets in my area consider her an exotic animal and have no idea what is wrong and will not treat her. Any ideas?

They belonged to my mom and she passed away. I've been told that the no-kill shelters are full; the ones that aren't don't want 18 year old cats. My cousin took them for awhile but only until they found a home. No luck yet. I'm going to have to get them this weekend, and I have a dog that I fear will eat them for a snack.

My mom loved them so much, and so do I, but I don't know what to do. Having them put to sleep is simply not an option.

Please help me!!!!!!!!!

The dog was their pet since birth, slept in the bed with me, their mother. Dog was part of the family so much - in photos and welcomed at picnics. How much do you tell them and what is too much? They have never lost a pet or family member as of yet. My children do believe in God....

Hi!
if I put a tight-fitting black suit on my cat and some night goggles on him, do you think he would have an advantage over other cats outside? I'm thinking he could stealth better...maybe learn some new techs. I dunno, what do you think?

We have a fish that has fin rot, and i'm sure he is in so much pain. We don't know what to do for him. We've tried putting antibiotics in the tank and changing the filter; nothing seems to work

We have a female cat, about 10, and she has rules the roost pretty much all her life. She used to try to adopt all sorts of furry babies, mostly cottontails. Anyway, a couple of years ago, she stopped bringing these babies in.
A couple of days ago, we found two kittens, one male and one female, out in the desert. (I could shoot people for leaving kittens out there where they can find no food and water to die a slow death). They were barely weaned, friendly little things, and the minute they saw our cat, they thought "mommy"... or at least they thought "you look like you would have nipples" (lol) and went straight for her. Problem is, she started hissing and making it clear she is not happy. She keeps her distance, but if they get too close, I have no doubt she will hurt them. We thought she would like having something to adopt, but apparently not. So, any ideas as to how I can smooth things over with the big cat?

I have a 3 year old mix, and I just got a border collie puppy, 11 weeks. The puppy follows around my older one constantly trying to play and be nice, but she nips and barks at him when he gets close to her or me. What can I do to make them get along??

Hello there,
is it possible to teach your dog to punch other dogs? Why bite when you can punch and maybe even kick? I'm teaching my dog martial arts - he can break wood now! But can they punch? o_O

I have a pet dog, a Shih Tzu. He used to never leave my side. However, I decided to cut off all his hair for the summer time, and now he will not respond to me. He's been very grouchy and snaps more often. What is the matter with my Prince William?

I had my "kitty" for 4 years. She was a very unique individual! We found her at home, we think she died in her sleep. Anyway, this new cat is sweet, but not as affectionate, she doesn't like to be held as much.

He got the rash recently after we went camping when my husband had also gotten poison ivy. My dog doesn't itch the rash and he doesn't seem to notice it, but the bumps do produce a greenish substance that does come back even after I wash it. The vet tells me that it will go away but I was wondering if anyone has a remedey to help the process or other suggestions. Thank You

Ok, so I love hyenas and eventually I'm going to devote my whole life to them through zoology, but lately I've been seeing and hearing people saying really bad stuff about them and most of it is untrue. I've done a lot of research and know what to beleive and what not to bealeive.

He's about 5 months old and he's a bigger sized dog. He always jumps on me or when I walk in front of him he'll get right in front of me. When I tell him no he doesn't pay a whole lot of attention and when I smack him-no matter how hard- he thinks I'm playing and it gets him more excited. I don't know what to do because I know he's just being friendly and he doesn't know what he is doing is bad but I need to get him to stop. (I can't afford obedience class)
