There are many places to find Pitbulls. There are always tons of them in local animal shelters, If you are not set on a small puppy. When I go I always find young dogs that need homes. They will already be spayed/neutered and will cost you much less then buying from a breeder. You should also check your area for regulations concerning Pittbulls. If there is a ban in your area it may explain the lack of breeders. If this is the case you could look at another breed. The American Bulldog. He looks more like a Boxer- Pittbull mix but with many, if not all, of the qualities of the Pittbull. These are the new choice in protection training and working animals.

Go to animal shelters in your area, you can add your name to a waiting list for a certain type of dog. I know you want a pit bull but when you go to look at the shelter have an open mind, there could be another dog there that would your life style better. Pit Bulls are wonderful dogs if trained properly, make sure you have the time before you take on any animal. Definately go to the shelters first!!

"Red nose" is not a breed. It is simply a nose color. There are no breeds of common pit bulls unless you are referring to purebred American Pit Bull Terriers or another bully breed.
Check Pit Bull Rescue Central for some homeless pits: http://www.pbrc.net/home.html
In the meantime, please do some more research on the breed. There are so many bullies that need homes it's not even funny.

I have American Bulldog puppies. Physiologically they are nearly indistinguishable from pit bulls, and they do not have the bans imposed on them that pitts do. We had a stray pit wander into our property and my male tore it up and sent it packing, and he often gets mistaken for a large pit. You can email me if you would like information about my puppies No_Bull_ABs@yahoo.com

Seeing in most places Pit Bulls are banned, I don't think you'll have any luck finding a breeder. You have to have the dog muzzled at all times, and neutered/spayed

I don't know where you are at but there is a website called
www.pitgirls.com They are a rescue center for pitbulls and have most types. Good luck. Also read up on them before you get one, I have one and he is the love of our house but they are VERY active dogs and require a dominant owner.
